Happy STS! Because I've watched a lot of his plays recently, which Shakespearean character or archetype would each of your OCs be? ~loopyhoopywrites

I’m gonna answer this for Nightmare Apocalypse characters, cause I just thought that if I ever wanna rewrite this story as something else a Shakespearean tragedy would be best XD.

Lucas -  The Big Lunk - a mean, the definition of this archetype is basically his description lol.

Marco - he’s just all over the place XD, some kind of mix of The Big Lunk, The Flawed Ruler, The Mistreated Villain and The Comic Relief. 

Crow -  The Bright Young Thing would probably be one of the things I could call her. I was debating if I should say what is the other archetype that I connect with Crow, but I figured that it would spoil too much of the mystery in the plot.

The line that probably sums up my Nightmare Apocalypse characters the best is sth I put in my notes not so long ago: 

Lucas: “We’re going to die”

Marco:”Probably”

Crow: “Definetly. Some day. But today, we’re gonna try very hard not to”.

I think I actually cannot tell you this, bc the main trio from Nightmare Apocalypse ARE gonna be taken out of their comfort zones and it’s kinda the most spoilery thing I can talk about XD. 

I can imagine some more insignificant instances, where they are stepping out of their comfort “blankets” tho - like Marco eating raw fish (and feeling mediocre about it, low-key hating the texture), Crow wearing high heels (and only seeing a point to them, if you need to stab a nightmare demon, but your hands are busy) or Lucas trying his hand at construction work (i mean, let’s be honest, no matter how enthusiastic he would get - ever the Ravenclaw wanting to learn new things - that one would probably end in disaster XD).

The most exciting part of writing Nightmare Apocalypse is creating the relationships between the trio. I very much enjoy writing the ups and downs, them supporting each other and making mistakes. Idk, i just like it XD.

Happy Worldbuilding Wednesday! Today I want to talk about fluff! Tell us, what are some ways to show affection in your world(s)? Do kisses exist and, if they do, mean anything else? What about *gasp* h u g s? (tag @fields-of-ink)

In Nightmare Apocalypse world kisses mean exactly what they mean in our world. Hugs on the other hand.... I mean, they were before what they are in our reality now, but after the horrors crawled out into the world hugs are just a needed comfort, a way to stay sane. My trio is gonna snuggle a lot XD. Also, in magic, some hugs are an important way of combining power... just leaving it out there with a *shhh, spoiler* and a ;)

I’m gonna say Nightmare Apocalypse anser for this one, since I’ve written more for this wip:

Marco, Lucas, Crow.

Marco is for some reason easiest for me to write for bc I just developed his psychology a lot, and I feel like he has taken on a role of a main Main character without me intentionally puting him as such XD.

Lucas is the 2nd just because I have trouble balancing out his akwardness with his constant want to be outgoing and nice. Idk, why that is, he has a lot of my qualities, I feel like. Maybe I just have to write more for him and I will finally get it.

Crow’s the hardest of the trio - I know why, but I cannot really explain it, bc it has something to do with spoilers of the plot. There’s just a lot of going on when it comes to her character and I’m not yet certain how to convey most of her internal struggle while she is still her rarely-speaking, but explosive at times self.
