Jade hadn't been in town for long, so she didn't know many people yet. She normally spent all of her time with her nose in her book or her laptop and she thought it was time for her to be a little more social. So she headed over to the bar or club or whatever she saw in town. "A fish bowl!" she said, when she saw the adorable drink name on the chalkboard. Little did she know it was huge, so she turned to the person next to her. "I messed up, please help me drink this."

Iris wasn’t really sure what she was doing at this wedding, she didn’t know the bride or the groom but she had gotten in with a few people in town and it seemed rude to skip it. The town was small so there wasn’t exactly anything better to do, plus an open bar is where she wanted to be at all times. Taking a sip of her vodka cran, she looked over to the person next to her. “Is it true that they are getting hitched because she got pregnant and wanted to fit in her dress?”

"Honesty, we kinda have to give some props to the girl. She was barely 5'3 and took down people who were a whole foot taller than her. Do you think she yelled timber as they fell to the ground?" She might be a little insensitive, but with all this death that happened around Nightrest you'd think people will be immune to everything surrounding it. "Oh come on, if we aren't joking about it what are we supposed to be doing? Cry ourselves to sleep? Absolutely not."

The amount of different stories she heard the past two weeks wasn’t surprising, somehow small towns had it’s talent for it. Everyone keeps adding to the story with their own twists and at the end it was completely different, “help a newbie out, what happened in this place? I can’t piece together this story.”

Sometimes Nightrest feels too small with a population too big and the number of places Charlotte can have some peace and quiet apart from her own place are limited. Maybe she shouldn’t be here, but if Ghostface were to come for her right now, at least it’d be somewhere pretty. She’s walking by the shore, shoes in her hand and humming to herself when she spots someone. “Sorry, I wasn’t trying to creep up on you or something. I was just taking a walk,” she says, tone quiet. “I didn’t think anyone would be here so early.”

Garrett renewed his old gym membership, getting himself used to being back in town. He decided to start at the free weights to warm up for a little while before he saw one of his go-to leg machines open up. Walking over he realized someone else was also about to put their water bottle down. "My bad, go ahead."

"Can you keep your voice just a tiny bit lower, please?" she groaned, rubbing her temple with her hands praying the pill she took will work it's magic soon. "I'm never drinking like that again." She grabs her cup, taking a few sips from her coffee. "Had fun last night?"

Wanting to get out of the house for a bit after the devasting news of Maya and Rhys, Junho figured the newly opened ice cream shop would be a nice change of pace for a moment, stepping in line before he went ahead and asked the employee for a sample of his favorite, giving it a try before ordering a large cup. Hearing a sound from the person next to him, Jun tilted his head, eyebrows raising as he spoke. “What? Don’t tell me you have something against mint chocolate chip?”
