"Okay, okay, calm down." He held up both hands, conceding she had a point. Her experience, he would readily admit, was not something he, personally, had ever had to consider. Sometimes - and maybe this was unfair to her - she reminded him so much of Hank, no doubt without meaning to, it hurt. And, if he were being perfectly fair, he could sometimes spot a healthy dose of Jan in there, too, and wasn't that just poetic in its own way.
Now, however...Now, she was kind of reminding him of...Well. Him. He didn't think it took a supergenius to point out how that was decidedly not always a great thing.
"Take a deep breath, c'mon. Let it out, nice and slow. Now focus on the problem. You need sleek, right? You need polished. You need a prototype that's more finished product than anything Microsoft's released in the last...Entirety of their existence. You need aesthetic. This part I can coach you through." Not do for her, obviously, but he had learned a trick or two over the years.
