Humans
We humans are nothing but mold growing on the surface of the world. We are changing the environment one bit at a time. This will go on until we have changed it to such a degree that life is unsustainable. Then another species will thrive in this new environment and our memories will be inexorably erased.
Unless, of course, we awaken to the High Mind, the group consciousness in which we awaken as a whole and work together to evolve beyond our environment. We may be able to take care of the planet with brilliant engineering and various environmental solutions.
Unfortunately, overpopulation will be impossible to resolve without the death of billions of lives. We’ll be ok for a while, but at some point we will encounter a wall and the Earth will become a garbage planet.
My only solace is that this will affect the selfish and the selfless, the rich and the poor, all will be equal when the Earth as we have known it dies and we die along with it.
How I’d like to have TJ’s attitude about this subject! Instead of being depressed and terrified all the time about it...
Things would be so much easier this way.
Why do people try to save other’s lives or keep them alive any way possible if we’re all gonna die one day anyways?
What 'it' is about
Where you came from
Where you're at
Where you're going
It is not about anything
It is meaningless
Everything is meaningless
