It’s been a while since I posted anything, but heres my next furigana lined notebook! I thought doing a half -the page vertiacal and half the page horizontal would be an interesting format. I also thought having some large genkyou squares on the left side was a good idea, since I was thinking the target audience for this notebook was for beginner Japanese Learners.

if anyone is wouldering how the kickstarter picture book project was going, I’m actually finished with the coloring book ands the picture book, and I just have to start the activity book.
This is a vertically lined furigana notebook. I thought having it split up into two parts would make it easier to use as a notebook, kind of like how the Japanese newspaper splits up it’s text. I kept the furigana design that I used for the 勉強しなきゃノート.

Random fact: 縦書きNotebooks do exist in Japan, so if you google ‘縦書きノート‘ you can see some ways they make them! Personally, I don’t like the [boxy design], and I like having space for furigana, but I thought it was cool that they are used just like normal lined notebooks. I was actually inspired to have the notebook show though the character (Ipo, for this book. He was a mutt and was the dog I had before Buuki) from looking at some 縦書きノートs on Amazon.jp
This 7X10 book has a red cover (with a darker red around the edges) with yellow text! The spin is actually a dark blue and not black!
I made this one 7X10 because I feel like the 8.5X11 feels too big for a hardback, but I wanted to make a book bigger then the 6X9. This book is more expensive than my past books due to the page count. (My other books are at around 120 pages, this book is at 200 and 284 pages). I decided to give the paperback version more pages in order for it's price to more similar reflect the Hardback, and for the covers to be similar in size (Hardbacks have bigger spines than paperbacks, but the spine size reflects the page count. ).
This notebook is 8.5 by 11, so it’s a larger book than the journal Benkyou Note (6X9). The interior of the two books are basically the same, but I did try making the furigana lines a tad bit fainter.
I thought the cover was funny, cuz I’m forcing Buuki (my dog) to study by putting her in Jail (which is what my family calls her Kennel). If you don’t like the cover, DM me and I can make you a different cover!
Tango Note: A Vocabulary Notebook For Japanese Learners
Its been a while since I made a journal, I tried making a Vocabulary Notebook, cuz I saw some randomly on amazon, and I was like “what is this lazy thing? all you did was put a line down the middle” so tada!
I think this interior makes a lot more sense for a Japanese vocabulary notebook. Personally, this isn’t something I would use, but I just had to do something about those monstrosities *shivers*.
Anyway, heres my cute cover! Pink Butterfly-peek through! Sorry for the girly cover for any men wanting a vocab book! Just DM me and I can make a custom cover for you and get that up ASAP, lol. Since this isn’t something I know very much about, let me know about anyway I can improve the vocab notebook-format! Also you can see in the cover, the left side of the pages is furigana lined, for notes.
Because I have not yet checked if the あ-わ 'Alphabet' Fore-edge Painting worked yet, I have decided to list the book at the minimum, $3.99.

So why did it take me a while till I made another book? I submitted this guy a while ago, and had some formatting issues, and I never got a email about it being published.
as you can see above, it says “publishing” and not “live” or “review”. Not sure why, but I googled it and found out the book IS on Amazon now, and from my understanding ‘PUBLISHING’ is some kind of glitch that makes it that you can’t edit your book. So if there are any problems with this guy, it sounds like I’ll have to call amazon directly D:
