what if, at some point, Sam and Dean’s souls shared the same “vessel” for a bit? Like Sam or Dean’s souls couldn’t inhabit their own body for a bit and so they had to fit in their soul into the other’s body. So it’s like two people in there.

for example: What if a witch put a curse on Sam and his body became toxic towards his soul, so Castiel had to pull it out and put it in Dean’s body. Castiel thinks Dean’s body is gonna tear in half and they’re both in unimaginable pain, but Dean is lwk in heaven. Sam is a little conflicted but it does feel nice to be so close to Dean. The two kinda share the body until they’re able to take away the curse.
