Hi! Sorry if this is too vague, I’ve never requested something like this before… can I request relationship headcanons for Dorothy x reader? It’s so cool that you’re writing for Nikke, I’m fixated on it and Dorothy is my favorite 💖💖

If you haven't done overzone, met Doro in story or done the recent anni event, please know that this will have spoilers.

Dorothy is such a doll and a cutie! But it really depends on what time period your with her in.

During the goddess squad, I personally think she'll be a bit more open than current Dorothy. She's not as anxious and certainly not as delusional during this time.

I think a lot of the time, you'll be in a group setting with the rest of the goddess squad members, not to say you don't spend time alone! Dorothy is and always will be someone who takes her alone time very seriously and I feel like her s/o would be included in that.

Overzone Dorothy is a bit of a different story. I feel like she'd be more protective of you since she lost so much. Lillith is gone, Red Hood is gone, the Commander is gone, and she soon loses Pinne too.

As much as she cares about you, you'll probably be in the middle. Between her unnatural obsession with Pinne, seeing herself as perfect and constantly chasing the past, your not really there, of course you'll be there, and she'll obviously appreciates that, but I don't think that would change her.

Present Dorothy is a bit different because now, she's in the arc! Her time there is a bit more carefree obviously and she's a bit more relaxed and probably has more time. I think her main hobby would be tea tasting, with you of course, she's just seemed to be relaxing and trying to spend time with you, she's already lost a lot and I'm sure she isn't trying to lose you too.

Red Hood Romantic HCs

I wanted to make a part for Dorothy too, but I've been busy as hell, so that'll probably come after I get through a couple other asks.

Also, if a charcter isn't in the Nikke masterlist, feel free to still request. I have to remake it one of these days because of the photo limit. Anyways, sorry for being late and hope you enjoy.

》 Being in a relationship with Red Hood can be a mixed bag. On one hand, you two really do love each other, even through the whole alien invasion, pretty much the end of humanity thing. On the other hand, you two don't get as much time together as you used to and even that is an understatement. Between her new duties as a Nikke and worrying whether or not she'll make it back home after her missions, it can get stressful.

》 You would be lying if you said it was easy when she first became a Nikke though. The two of you weren't exactly well off, living in a relatively small village away from most of the fighting. You didn't really think much of it, not realizing just how bad it was until raptures practically appeared out of nowhere, killing everyone in sight. While you were evacuated… you couldn't find her. The only proof of her existence being the cassette player she gifted a friend of yours.

Your breath freezes in your throat as you stare at the red haired woman, proudly walking down the street with a gun damn near twice her size tossed over her shoulder. You don't even know what to feel.

》 Imagine your surprise, spending months thinking she was dead until you saw her and a few others, still alive, receiving a hero's welcome at the city you were staying at.

Relief?

Confusion?

Happiness?

You couldn't even move, practically stuck in place as you stare at the spitting image of your supposedly dead girlfriend.

She scans the crowd, her eyes eventually land on you, having to double take before stopping dead in her tracks. You have no time to react before you see a huge smile on her face. Her weapon falls to the ground with a loud crash and the next thing you know your feet leave the ground as you're taken into a bone crushing huh.

No words really needed to be spoken between the two of you, everyone else in the crowd forgotten. You just bury your head into her large chest, letting reality sink in.

She's still alive and back with you, so you won't complain.

》 It really doesn't seem like much has even changed, besides that hug she goes right back to how everything was before. Immediately dragging you off with strength you didn't think possible. She wasn't a small woman by any means but it just wasn't human. After she introduced you to her squad and catching up, you found out she wasn't. It was a lot to take in. She did die… kind of? Then got turned into some powerful android who fights aliens for the sake of humanity.

》 Irrelevant. By the end of the day you two were in your house, listening to the cassette player she never seemed to get tired of.

》 She did seem a bit different though, only through very small things anyone else wouldn't really notice. Red Hood was definitely more clingy than she used to be, not to mention she was practically treating you like you were made of glass most of the time. It wasn't a bad thing though, just relaxing in her arms, getting the pillow treatment.

》 It did kind of suck when she had to go out on missions. She was on the best and one of the only squads around, but you still worried whether she'd make it back home or not.

》 Dates are certainly fun. Taking you to a shooting range, though not letting you shoot her gun of course, as you'd probably do more damage to yourself than the target. She's quite fond of showing off in simulations, or just going to see a movie or concert, though needless to say those are exceptionally rare these days.

》 Speaking of shooting ranges, out of everyone in her squad, Snow White is someone Red Hood loves to bring around. She's a nice girl, if a bit childish but she definitely looks up to Red Hood, and you to a certain extent. If you like guns or shooting, she'll be coming over a lot to run ideas through you or just hang out, almost seeing you as an older sibling.

》 Definitely protective of you. Not that many people would really try to hurt you. Your girlfriend is part of the Goddess Squad and an android that can tear through even the strongest Raptures with ease. Even then, she won't resort to violence too quickly, usually just using her words to drive them off. If that doesn't work… a flick probably won't kill them.

》 Red Hood is more romantic then her relatively rough and playful exterior lets on. You can't really blame her, you two didn't have the best life growing up, after all. Some nights it'll just be you two staring into the setting sun in a comfortable silence. She does still have a girly side buried deep somewhere in here, though it rarely comes out. She claims doing stuff like that just reminds her of what she’s fighting for, but with the way she stares at you, you know it's deeper than that.

》 It was quite the surprise when one day, out of nowhere, Red Hood approached you saying she was going on her last mission. You were a bit confused, but she brushed it off saying she's been fighting for long enough and wants to spend the rest of her life with you.

》 Was… that some kind of proposal?

》 If it was, you didn't have time to blink, let alone even ask before her face flushed red as she gave her usual smile and speeding off. You just chuckled and shook your head. She was always a free spirit, and you know she'll be back. She always comes back.

If you’re still doing requests, how about how Rapi, Anis, and red hood would react with a new commander s/o who’s normally shy, but as they’re getting an assignment from Syuen and she mocks them (as she does) and they respond by getting between Syuen and the given Nikke and saying “mock me all you want, but talk about her like that again and I’ll kill you, consequences be damned.”

How the Counters and Red Hood would protect from Syuen abuse

Characters: Rapi, Anis, Neon (I had to include her), and Red Hood

A/n: swearing, gn!commander, headcanons

You had been a commander for the Ark for some time now. However, you weren’t the same as other commanders, you were a bit shy, timid even.

Syuen came barging in to the Outpost Command Center, spouting her normal abusive nonsense.

Rapi:

Would make an underhanded comment (this is canon) while remaining completely calm about it.

She wants to get angry, but Rapi has a really level head and wouldn’t want to cause additional problems for her commander.

After Syuen leaves, probably suggests reporting it to Andersen (or even Ingrid since we all know Ingrid would happy kick the shit out of Syuen)

Would comfort you after if the situation ended up really affecting you.

Anis:

Easily the first to throw hands. Anis is a spitfire against that little brat.

Would start swearing up a storm and threatening to kick her ass, only forgetting that her NIMPH prevents her from hurting humans.

She might actually feel more downcast about it after, feeling as if she couldn’t 100% protect you to the best of her ability. (Please comfort her)

Would try to brush it off and lighten the mood again a few minutes later.

Neon:

One word. Firepower!

I feel like she would actually threaten Syuen. She might not be able to harm a human… but a little firepower still could.

Gets really annoyed and defensive.

Would conduct her Elysion spy duties and report to Ingrid that Syuen is causing trouble.

Headline the next day: “Issues between Elysion and Missilis? Missilis’ CEO charged for harassment?!”

Red Hood:

Very cocky that she can take Syuen in a fight.

If Syuen says anything about you being unable to defend yourself, all hell breaks loose.

Places you behind her, until Syuen disappears.

After Syuen leaves, she’ll also comfort you.

And probably gives really nice cuddles.

》 Jokes aside, unless you were already very close with or already in a relationship with Syuen beforehand as a human, maybe when she was a scientist or even before then, you're going to be spending the rest of your long life kicking rocks on the surface. You already lost.

》 She's most likely playing a large part of the reason you're even in the position you are now. They stopped really trying to make males into Nikkes ages ago, too many complications, and at the end of the day, it wasn't really worth the cost when females were much easier to work with. But if something were to happen to you, whether it be a life-threatening injury or something of the sort, you bet she's pulling every string she has and using every asset to make sure you live. Even if it is as a... worthless pile of junk Nikke.

》 She's been lying if she said she wasn't at least a little happy when you fired your weapon and turned out to be an SSR.

》 She does see becoming a Nikke as a fate worse than death, but that's for her. Maybe it is hypocritical, but she would rather have you as a Nikke than dead. If she manages to care for some Nikkes like Matis or even Rupee to an extent, she can deal with it if it's for her S/O.

》 Well, one upside is you get to spend more time with her! You're kind of under her direct command now. Forget your old job. You're now the secretary working under the CEO of Missilis! No way in hell you're going to the surface. Already almost lost you once, and she's not trying to do it again. You can be one of the most powerful Nikkes out there for all she cares, but you're not leaving her side.

》 She can try to tone Nikkephobia if it makes you uncomfortable. She understands Nikkes a bit better now. She did before, too, but now that it's something closer to her... Nikkes are more similar to people than she'd like to admit. She may be too prideful to really say it, and she knows how they can be treated better than anyone, but she gets it. She won't be throwing any Nikke pride parades any time soon, but she'll be more empathetic. Even Nikkes have loved ones and lives, after all. Most of them are still disposable pieces of scrap metal though. Sorry not sorry.

》 She will throw hands for you, though will usually just be Syuen before resorting to that. Luckily, not many people even know you're a Nikke, being a male and all, but some people are perceptive. If they're a Nikkephobe, there may be hell to pay. She wasn't just spouting hot air when she wanted to fight Ingrid. Wouldn't expect it from someone her size, but she knows how to fight. If someone decides it's a good day for some good ol' discrimination, Syuen disagrees. Those hands are rated E for everyone.

- "Excuse you and your trash heap of a restaurant?" The petite CEO sneers, glaring a hole through the head of the manager.

"I'm sorry ma'am. We can't serve that thing. If you start treating them like humans-" They flinch as Syuen cuts them off in her usual bratty tone.

"Do you know who I am?" She snaps, crossing her arms with a huff.

"Yes, ma'am. I'm aware of who you are but with all due respect-"

"I see. You've lost your damn mind. Keep babbling, and I'll help you set it straight. We came here to eat, not to hear your barking, dog. Get us our damn food or pay the price."

"Syuen, you really don't have to cause a scene..." You mutter, sinking back into your seat. It wasn't exactly uncommon, but it was still embarrassing when it happened.

Syuen just glanced at you and sighed. "I'll give you one more chance. Serve us like a good little dog before I put you down."

"I'm sorry, but we don't serve their kind. If you want to feed it, you'll have to take it to another establishment."

Syuen stands up, swiftly kicking their foot out from under them and sending them tumbling to the ground. Everyone who wasn't already looking definitely was now. Syuen steps on their fallen form, digging her heel into their back as she stares down at them. "You ignorant piece of trash. You dare ruin our date? I'll sue you into the ground!"

"Yep, that's enough here."

"Hey! Put me down!" Using your enhanced strength, you toss Syuen over your shoulder and start silently making your way to the exit. "Let me teach that idiot a lesson!"

》 Best to keep her on a leash before she ends up doing something that'll make her look too bad.

》 She will at least get to make you into a celebrity of sorts. You're her S/O so it'll make her look better and put you above the other Nikkes in the eyes of the public. It's a win-win.

》 Speaking of other Nikkes, she wants you to avoid interacting with them if possible. You have her. No reason to go and make friends with scrap metal.

》 Unless it's Matis. It's no secret that she plays favorites, and they just so happen to be up there. If you go on the surface for any reason, they're sure to be with you to keep you safe. She'll allow you to bond with her favorite squad.

》 There aren't many dates to speak of with Syuen. She's a CEO and doesn't have time to waste with that sort of thing. You spend almost all your time with her at work anyway. If it two do go out, it's relatively rare, but she'll spoil you at an expensive restaurant or walk through Royal Road. She'll bring you as a +1 any events she goes to if you want to count that.

》 While she can fight and enjoys clocking people who get a bit mouthy from time to time, she still expects you to defend her. She didn't dump all those resources into you so you can stand there and look pretty. Random people upset at her, rogue Nikkes, or even assassination attempts. You'll have to have her back. Put all of that state of the art equipment to use and crush anyone who tries to hurt her. Especially those pesky rookie commanders.

Dating Liter HCs

Liter deserves some love. Best burst 1, wholesome grandma, and dog. What's not to like?

》 Despite her looks, Liter is old. Possibly multiple times your age old. She's seen many people come and go, whether they die in battle or other reasons, Liter is painfully aware of both of your mortality, even as a Nikke, she knows she know won't be around forever and wants to make every second she has count.

》 If you have any free time, Liter may try and take you to work or the workshop with her. It doesn't seem like much at the time, but she really does enjoy spending that quality time together. If she is able to teach you a few things, build something with you, or even just have fun messing with her tools, that's one more positive memory for her to cherish.

》 They are few and far between, but even Liter has days where she just wants to rest and take it easy. She can still be stubborn about it, though. Sometimes, she'll need some convincing to take a break, but at the end of the day, she still knows her own limits. These days can include anything from long walks through the park with Bolt or just lazing around the house with the small Nikke. Just try to keep her away from BOOM. At least she's handy enough to fix whatever ends up broken..

》 Legacy is very important to Liter, something she had to learn the hard way. While she won't actively drag you around and force you to make a name for yourself... she highly encourages it. She used to not care about the future, but she learned from that mistake and will make damn sure you don't fall into the same trap. Even if it's something small like helping Mighty Tools put up a building or even just supporting the community, Liter wants you to live a good life that will be remembered by those around you. The last thing she wants is to stand by and let you die filled with regrets of what could have been.

》 She may be overbearing or strict at times, but that's only because she cares about you. Hell, she'll go out of her way so you two can experience new things together. The amusement park she helped build? You already know who will be the first to ride test it. She even made a hot air balloon for you two just because she could. She has all this experience with construction, so using it to make memories from time to time isn't a waste in her eyes.

》 Bolt.

》 If you're with Liter, you're going to be seeing a lot of Bolt. You can't complain though. He's a good boy. Sometimes Liter has to work long hours, and Bolt can get lonely. It'll be up to you to keep him company, which isn't all bad. He may be a robot but he's just like a real dog. Just take good care of him. Both Liter and Bolt will appreciate it.

》 Having a Liter around can definitely save you money on a lot of things around the house.

》 She's definitely more old-fashioned than most. While going on dates, or just in day to day life, she'll try to open doors for you or even pull out chairs. It can be quite embarrassing, but it's probably just best to let it ride and let her have it, as it reminds her that she's still a human at the end of the day. Maybe not physically, but mentally. Small gestures like that only remind her of that fact.

》 Liter can have doubts, being a Nikke and all. With all the nikkephobes around, it can get to her. Make sure she knows you don't mind it and you value your relationship with her. She may not show that it gets to her, but she still has bad days. Make sure she knows how much you value her!

》 Good chance you will get some weird looks while going out with her. Liter can feel insecure at times, not being able to grow since she's a Nikke, so again, reaffirm her. Just try not to comment on the entire bakery she has in public.

》 At the end of the day, Liter definitely reminds you of a grandma at times. With how she can hover over your shoulder or lecture you to no end, it's out of love. She wants what's best for you and will put her foot down. Past that she loves the quality time you two spend together and will treasure every second, so make it count. With Liter by your side, there's a good chance you will be ready when your time comes, just as she will be.
