Jett

Acts like it’s no big deal, but she definitely notices you’re down and immediately decides it’s her job to fix it

“Okay, listen. We’re not doing this sad playlist stuff anymore. Shoes on, we’re going out.”

Drags you out for street food, arcade runs, or just aimless wandering, anything to keep your mind busy

Keeps up her usual jokes, but every now and then sneaks in a soft: “You know you’re way too good for them, right?”

If you cry around her, she isn't like awkward about it. She just throws an arm around you and mutters “Yeah, let it out” and hands you napkins to dry your tears off

Neon

Her approach is just likr full-speed distraction. She hates seeing you down and doesn’t want you to sit with those feelings too long

Offers to take you running with her (not serious training) just a fast jog where she tries to get you to chase her. “Come on, slowpoke! Bet you can’t catch me!”

Lights up (literally, sometimes) whenever she manages to get even a small smile out of you

Rambles a lot, telling you stories about the other agents, or gossip she’s overheard, just to fill the silence and keep your mind from looping

Buys you snacks (usually something colorful, sweet, or sour) “Food heals all wounds, right? So here take this.”

When you finally relax a little, she gives you a bright grin and says, “See? Told you it won’t keep you down for long.”

Doesn’t push you to “move on” or anything, she just wants to remind you there’s fun still waiting for you

Omen

He doesn’t try to force happiness onto you. Instead, he just sits with you

Quietly being by your side is his comfort style. If you’re curled up somewhere, he’ll join without a word just staying next to you

Knits you a little something (maybe a scarf or tiny plush) and simply places it in your hands. “You seemed like you needed this.”

Reminds you, in his calm way, that grief is natural. “It will pass. The shadows don’t stay forever.”

If you open up, he just listens, never interrupts, never judges, just lets you talk

He may not say much, but him just staying by your side makes you feel less alone.

Neon was already upset today. The fact you left the bed and room without waking her, and it wasn’t even for food. If it was she would’ve cared a bit less, but no. You snuck out for training, something you do plenty with her.

It wasn’t very hard to find where you were, hearing some cheering before it turned into shouts. Already rushing into the room in case you were there, well luckily and unluckily enough, you were. Clearing having been thrown back onto the floor, clutching your head.

Near the door was Fade, who was grabbing at her own head as Deadlock kept talking to her. The others watched and Harbor called for Sage, then did she notice your injury. A few small scratches across your cheek, she gasped before rushing over.

“Y/N, are you okay? Did Fade do anything else?” If no one else wasn’t here Neon would (try to) tear Fade a new one, but you were her priority right now. Helping you up and into her arms, not letting you step away for a second.

At this point the others noticed her behaviour, especially Sage and Deadlock. While Sage handed Neon a nearby first aid kit before leaving, Deadlock managed to get Fade out of the room, alongside many of the others.

“Tala, I’m fine, look, it's already stopped bleeding.” “You were bleeding!? Why didn’t you call me?” “It’s fine, ju–” NO! I mean– Let me take care of you, okay?”

Neon loved running. It wasn't really a secret. The agents of the protocol was used to see her running around. 'Why aren't you walking ?' they would ask. 'Because I can run.' she would answer. The Filipino duelist was not only full of sass, but also full of energy. But when she wanted to rest, she loved the tranquility of her dorm room. Tranquility that she frequently shared with you. You took the habit of coming in her dorm room just to chill on her bed. So she wasn't really surprised to see you lounging on her bed when she came back of her jog.

"One day I'll charge you for using my bed so often," she laughed.

"That's fine," you answered casually. "I can pay you with hugs and kisses."

She felt lucky that you had your eyes closed or you would see the faint blush spreading on her cheeks. She smiled when you patted the space beside you, inviting her to join you. She complied and you immediately nuzzled your face in the crook of her neck.

"You know that I can zap you, right ?" she said.

"I wouldn't be here if you hadn't already." you sleepily muttered against her skin.

She enjoyed the comfort of your embrace. She enjoyed taking a break from the constant race that was her life in your arms. And she was okay with it.

Neon loved running, but you were the only one who could stop her. The only one who could make her heart running faster than her feet.

If you’re still asleep but moving around, that’s when she’ll wake up.

She doesn’t really know how to comfort you but she tries her best.

Smothers you in affection nearly 100% of the time, mainly giving you cuddles and kisses.

Will grab you anything you need and want but prefers to stay with you, especially in your current state.

If needed she’ll spend the whole night assuring you that the nightmare is false and won’t ever happen.

Feeling you kick her in the leg again had her sit up, you were never this rowdy in bed, so what was happening now? Looking over to find you holding the blanket near your chest in a death grip. The faint light from the moon showed her the layer of sweat covering your skin.

When you calmed down for a moment she reached over to gently shake you, continuing until you finally woke up. Wide eyes shoot over to her, she lets you reach over to her, pulling her into your lap.

“Alitaptap, I’m here,” Grabbing one of your hands to hold hers, “Now tell me what’s wrong?”

Somehow, you both talked until the sun rose. Only noticing when someone knocked on your door to wake you up.

At first she really panics.

She rushes around to find and grab anything that seems helpful.

At some point she’ll likely cause you to laugh, which reminds her that you’re still here.

But when it comes to comforting you, she’s amazing at that.

She’s able to calm you down and fall asleep again.

Through blurry eyes and limited light, you were able to watch Jett rush around the room. She was grabbing anything she could, which led to her arms now overflowing with objects. As she reached for another thing, one fell from her arms. Trying to grab it back up only for everything else she held onto to fall.

Her pouting and grumbles were cut off by the sound of your laughter. Looking over to find you doubled over.

“Hey!” Launching herself onto the bed, trapping you in her arms. “This is for laughing at me!”

She seems to know that you’re having a nightmare before you realize.

Will sit awake with you for hours if you want her to.

She knows what to do, so you’ll have instant and constant affection if you’d like.

Tries to help you open up about it, whether or not you do she’ll stay with you.

The next day she passes off as much work as possible, wanting to spend the day with you.

When the nightmare finally ended your eyes opened, but instead of a dark and quiet room. You saw a small light on to your left, finding that Sage was still awake, just reading now.

“Sage,” Pausing her reading to look over at you, “What have I said about staying up…”

She silently laughed and shook her head as she shut her book. Taking one of your hands into her own.
