well, I wasn’t joking, I am for real drafting Nikki x Eleven drabble, and I’m leaning on my vision of Nikki as her voice actress, Odessa A’Zion. (The vision is so vivid, I cannot!!), so anyways…

It made me think about the way I see Nikki’s personality. We know she inherited some of Mike’s traits, she’s a protector, and a tinker, she’s noble and non-conforming, she looked non-binary and could be a lesbian. or whoever in queer spectrum

so it was a question of time when her visuals would lead me to Lady Oscar (the blond one) and Utena Tenjo (also pink haired), anime queer icons.

it’s just the way I see her… it’s like Utena (or Lady Oscar) if she lived in the modern (or the 80-90s, almost modern world), caring about the girl next to her (El 🌚) the most, and being the “prince” for her (Utena wanted to be a prince, not a princess). El has always represented strong women, but at the same time she’s tender, soft and airy, and I see so vividly how Nikki could be this contrasting gf for her: when El definitely can save the world, there’s still a simple girl who brings her flowers every morning and ready to defend her from wtv (even tho El has always been able to do it herself).
