Sweating for the wedding - day 12
Not too much change scale wise, but definitely waist wise!
So I noticed that I really have not been going down much on the scale. I have been fluctuating between 160.6 and 161.4 for the last few days. I am still sticking to the diet, but since I have added the workouts the scale has drastically slowed down. This is because, “when you’re new, you can build muscle and lose fat at the same time, and building muscle means adding weight, of course,” (Matthews). And since my only for of workout before this was belly dance, adding in the daily workouts is making me gain muscle while I lose the fat.
This being said though, I have noticed a big difference in how my clothes fit.
Pants that were very snug, and left a mark on my waist when I took them off now fit like a glove. I have also noticed that my favorite pants that I bought right before Thanksgiving are not really fitting much at all. This is a sad realization, because I really do like those pants.
Guess it just means I get to go shopping soon!
On Sunday I will try to post my comparative measurements from this past Sunday to this Sunday coming up, but until then I will share a side by side photo set of when I started this diet to now. I am sad to say I used different cameras so the quality of the new pictures are not that great (and they were taken from a different angle), but I will try to take better ones on Sunday along with my measurements.
Until then I will be working hard to FIT THAT DRESS! ;-)
