Tesla was a very self-contradicting individual and I don’t doubt that he did start to hate women when he found out that he could not control them. He was a man about “control.” It’s evident when you see his work and his research, he really got off on learning new ways to control things, ie inventions.
I don’t know if he was racist, but I do know that he was a fan of the idea of selective procreation… add that to the fact that he was asexual and aromantic, or at least that is what I understand.
I admire a lot of his studies and inventions which have contributed significantly to the world as we know it today. His humanitarianism is only partial and I think that is what confuses people sometimes, thinking he was an all-benevolent being.
