World's Fastest Man Usain Bolt playing cricket 🏏 with former Indian cricketer and IISM's Founder-Director Mr. Nilesh Kulkarni!

As part of DreamSetGo's flagship initiative 'Dream Icons', Usain Bolt arrived in India 🇮🇳 for a multi-city tour and was present at the 'Dream Dash' event in Mumbai, where school students from across the nation participated in a sprint challenge. 🏃‍♂️

As the 8-time Olympic Gold Medalist interacted with Mr. Kulkarni, he was quite keen to wield the cricket bat and play a few balls bowled by the former India international.

Being DreamSetGo's Sports Higher Education Partner for this event, we are all thrilled at IISM to see Usain Bolt enjoy such an enthusiastic exchange with our Founder-Director and thank its founders — Mr. Monish Shah and Mr. Daniel D'Souza — for facilitating this amazing partnership.

Our Founder-Director Mr. Nilesh Kulkarni was recently invited to the National Sports Day Conclave 2025 🇮🇳 held at SAI RC Mumbai on August 30th, 2025.

Attending this Conclave along with a few of our students, he represented IISM as a Leading Sports Education institute in the presence of many dignitaries from India's sporting ecosystem, including Hon’ble Smt. Raksha Nikhil Khadse – Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs & Sports.

Besides honouring the birth anniversary of India's hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand 🏑, Mr. Kulkarni was also involved in a panel discussion about "Sports and Education: Building Future Careers, Skills & Opportunities".

Putting forth his perspective, he shed light on IISM's role in uplifting India's sports industry on all fronts and how we shall continue building on this momentum.

‘Mumbai & its people’ through the lens of former Indian cricketer & the founder of IISM, Mr. Nilesh Kulkarni 🏏.

He traveled to the flashback while sharing his experience of his early cricketing phase with Maharashtra Times 📰, which was published today.

In the article, he mentioned how he received help on the train while traveling to Wankhede Stadium to practice cricket and how locals always came to motivate him as he was striving to play for the Indian Cricket team 🇮🇳.

He also expressed his gratitude to the University of Mumbai for their support since he established the International Institute of Sports & Management 🙏.
