Otherkin is more than association/relatability. As I understand it, otherkin believe that they are literal reincarnations of fictional characters, and that these characters exist in a real-life alternate dimension that the show writer psychically tapped into when they wrote the story. So if you don't believe that at a religious level, you are not otherkin, and you just find some characters to be relatable.

oh, that’s much more complete... Well, yeah... in these terms I’m far from being otherkin. I’m not even using the original Sapphire here... I’m molding my own version of Sapphire with my quirks and looks at the same time maintaining a sapphire essence? 

Would be offensive if I keep drawing myself as sapphire even if I’m not otherkin? I can stop, but It’s really fun.

And uh, I am afraid they just really misunderstood what I meant. If they took 3 seconds and checked my profile, they’d see I’m not even straight and I’m far from compulsive heteronormativity when it comes to head canoning characters. 

I am far from ship wars too, that’s why I said shippers can do whatever they want with characters, even if seeing Judy x Nick is kinda tiring since I so loved the fact they were just friends in the movie~

Also why I was sooo “ugh” about the lesbian thing, is because, of course, lgbt ppl exist, and it’s of course, totally okay to headcanon characters as such~ I understand the “people don’t care about character’s sexuality until it’s proposed it’s not straight” NO. I mean maybe most of people... but I sure not. I just... when there’s nothing in the plot that suggests any sexual orientation, why do that? It’s a little bit like degrading character just to their sexuality while it’s the least important thing. I sure can headcanon Judy as ace. But why would I? It’s like “I headcanon her as liking cheese” IT DOESN’T MATTER and she probably also does not like cheese anyway so. 

It (sexuality and strong headcanons) does play a role for example in Steven Universe, or Adventure Time or even Gravity Falls, but here?. Also all posts of this sort do not even tell why, or that it’s headcanon. They just say SHE IS LESBIAN/ whatever. And we don’t know. We probably wil never know. There is zero things to back it up. It sure would be great if she was lesbian~ first animated disney movie to show lesbian lead! but uh?

I just am tired with slapping those labels on characters while it doesn’t matter, and I see it everythwere, and so much is about sexual orientation while for the most part it’s irrelevant. If someone did it “Judy Hopps is STRAIGHT” I’d be just as upset.

But, of course, it’s totally okay to do that, to headcanon, to even claim and create such posts. I just wrote what I wrote, because I’m personally tired, maybe also because of my ace-ness (so making characters allosexual for no reason I guess is uh). A little rushed reaction to block me I guess uh? 

So all I can ask for is if... someone could tell @nillia that it’s misunderstanding or that I want to just talk about it, while I can’t because I bet I’m blocked? (I can’t reblog this post) or just somehow linkt this thingy I just wrote to them? I don’t want drama, I don’t want to leave bitter taste, so uh, please, anybody TvT? 

Also I want to note I don’t want to make a victim of myself somehow “D? I just want nice things TvT and this, even if little, isn’t...

Tell me stuff about Xinqing and Nillia?

ah yes, xin the resident angst bucket and nillia who i keep forgetting has two L’s in her name

Xin was one of the members of the original clan led by Nadja, before Edel, Meri, and Mor’s coup. He was also the closest to Nadja; he and his best friend were the first to join after Adrian, and Xin was Nadja’s most trusted advisor. He had mentioned to her when Meri first arrived that he felt uneasy about him, but she insisted that she wouldn’t turn away Lili (another close friend)’s grandson and his best friend based solely on gut feeling. Xin still regrets to this day that he didn’t press her harder to listen to him. They might all still be alive.

He’s still in the clan basically for Kit’s sake - he knows that Meri would hunt them down if they left, and while he’s just about done caring about his own life, the thought of Kit being killed isn’t something he can stand.

His scars are from an attack that he barely managed to survive when he was younger. He’d flown a little off course, into a Plague clan’s territory, and they’d clawed him right out of the sky. To this day he’s uncertain how he escaped and how he made it to the Icefield, and still carries a prejudice against red eyes.

Nillia is Clan Menglong’s messenger but also resident Mom Friend. She’s kind, warm-hearted, and sweet as apple pie, and always happy to lend an open ear or a shoulder to cry on or some sincere, thoughtful advice. She would be happy to offer apple pie also except she’s an awful cook. Has to do with always being on the move, probably, doesn’t allow for learning much fine cuisine. Also, despite being distant and aloof about herself and her past, she’s a definite extrovert and likes being with people and is something of an incorrigible flirt when it comes to ~the ladies~.

Aside from ferrying around packages and letters, Nillia’s something like a high priestess the goddess Aiman and her husband Ciar of Apotheosis, and employs a number of moon-based powers, including travel by moonlight and scrying!

85 and 90?

85. Do all of your dragons have to contribute to the clan to stay? Are there layabouts?My first subclan is subdivided into such small groups that everyone kind of has to contribute. The second, kingdom subclan, is kind of. A kingdom. Full of questionably useful nobles.

In the main clan, it’s not a requirement, per se, and there are certainly a number of dragons who appear at face value to be layabouts in the clan. Still, just about everyone contributes in some way, though a lot of times their contributions aren’t material/are hard to define. i.e. Nillia contributes her calm, nurturing nature, and although she’s not technically the clan’s therapist she kind of functions like one, and she’s too well-loved (and responsible for holding everyone together) for anyone to even begin to imagine the clan without her.

90. How strict do your dragons stick to the breed stereotypes? Flight stereotypes?/looks at my lair literally full of imps/looks at the imp encyclopedia page/looks back at my lair/casually slides the encyclopedia page under the rug and places the coffee table on top of it

Okay, in all seriousness: As far as breed stereotypes, often not particularly, especially my Skydancers, though certain individuals might. Salvatore and Sesha, for instance, are both reserved and somewhat distant, and Hwonton, Feng, and Huo are all highly dedicated to their respective crafts.

Flight stereotypes are a little more common because I can be really picky about elements oops. i.e. Meridyne (Arcane), for instance, is a fuCKIN NERDASS NERD at heart.

It is gay. Many characters are bi or gay. Creator confirmed for all Heterolens viewers in denial. Also gay aside, it is one of the best shows ever made. Symbolism heavy and poignant messages about gender. We notice something new every re-watch.
