Vessel Avery AU

I have seen people talking about their version of Vessel Avery AU or Kibg Avery or whatever you call it. Now i kinda wann ramble about how mine works

My version of this AU litterly leans more into Vessel? Cause in this AU we got the KiY and Avery who aren't stuck in the same body but KiY still has control over him? It's like a part of him is inside Avery, hence why Avery in this AU is called a Prince.(the king has his own Body probably multiple bodies to possess, and chose to kinda use Avery as some sort of extention of his? He has a part of him cobtrolling the body but dosent fully control what it does only if he really wanted to) The Vessel practically gets treated like a little doll or a pet of sorts? The King just kinda makes sure he looks good and not dead. Dereck is the Prince's personal guard, ig. He makes sure the Vessel is not injured in any way and makes sure to please him. I kinda like to think that beibg near the Prince , Dereck gets a clearer mind? If that makes sense. Kinda like his brain can handle the infinit knowledge better.

The Prince acts kind of like a child, not entirely but he is immature and bubbly while at the same time can be very terrefying if things dont go his way. He likes to toy around with Dereck sometimes or do activities with him (idk like drawing or sightseeing or whatever). Honestly sometimes it looks like the Prince yearns for Derecks attention.

Now here is a thing that idk how exactly to use it right? Nor do i even know if i wanna keep it in-

I like to think that there are rare moments where Avery regains a bit of control over his body, be it the King wanting to see what Dereck will do with him in that moment or the body is in a state of resting where, if you try hard enough, you can pull Avery out.

Why i even consider that? Well as much as i love angst , i mostly feel bad for whatever i pull character through which also makes it hard for me to kill off some characters in my own stories :D. But again , i dont even know if i want that in the AU so we'll see ig

been meaning to draw ivan for a while :3 i think his design is so cool

ivans a medic and potions master so dereck, with his withered condition, would benefit greatly from meeting him XD (he takes potions regularly to deal with chronic pain and to help keep the withering at bay)
