The follow-up of his „Master Petz“ release (Black Label #121) in 2014 is just a brilliant piece of music! Versatile, soulful and deep in full effect, just the way we love it! The title track „The One“ features a sublime mesmerising vocal performance by Emilie Nana, who just released her debut album „The Meeting Legacy“ on Compost. A smoothly waving groover coming still in time for the late summer and suits perfectly late-back beach sessions and pool parties. The B-side contains „Mercury“, a proper deep house jam with an afro twist. Tricky percussion works and a playful bass line meet sophisticated orchestral vibes. Epic in many ways. With the second track „Blue“ Nils shows his true talent as an ingenious arranger. The result is a wonderful instrumental journey, some finest ear milk.
