Idk if I've sent an ask like this to you but any thunderstruck headcanons you wouldnt mind sharing?

Oh i definitely don't mind!! Adding a cut bc this is super long. Spoilers below, ofc.

Also lmk if there are typos or anything

Nimzaya specific/Nim or Zaya only:

Nim's electrokinesis is advanced enough that they can send currents through computers/devices to make slight tweaks to things.

Nim gets little gifts (matching keychains w/practical stuff built in & other stuff) for Zaya. She keeps them all, but they can never find out about that.

Relatedly, Nim absolutely swept the friendgroup at Mario Kart and Zaya almost crashed out. They told her later and she just fell harder became even more fascinated by them.

Zaya has gone on a trip to a place solely for the tea. Just to try a new flavor. As a treat.

Zaya has that general mad-scientist skill set. She knows how to Science. Like not just chemistry but all the Sciences.

If they were to sleep together (NOT screwing, just sleeping), Nim would big spoon. Zaya would refuse to face them so they'd hug her and she would be happy about it but wouldn't want them to see it on her face.

Zaya screwed up one of her experimemts and accidentally got herself and Nim high asf off the fumes. Nothing really came of that, but Zaya did record how to do that just in case.

General:

Nim almost got tattoos but M talked them out of it - too identifiable. They originally planned on small stars on the wrist but now they're thinking of one that reminds them of Zaya in some way.

Nim picks up drawing at some point and leaves their sketchbook at Zaya's one day. She finds lots of sketches of her at work and is torn between burning it or keeping it under her pillow. She gives it back and told Nim that she didn't look.

Sai and Andromeda would've been besties if they were both Responders at the same time.

Nim and Sai would be besties in a different universe.

Sai cosplays, but hasn't had a lot of freedom to go to events. Zaya got dragged into going to a convention with her and built her a sick robotic suit attachment (cosplay was Doc Oc or something that needed mechanical limbs) that could go between some default poses. She loved it, and Zaya had to try really hard to not seem too pleased by the compliments.

Seb has pet fish. No clue why or how, he just does. Sai loves them; Cupid doesn't see the appeal but she has spent an hour straight watching them. He's super protective over them.

Theories:

Leni calls Rook "Broccoli Head" sometimes. He hates it with a passion.

Director Darlyle and Raiden used to be a couple in college and one of the secret terms of their agreement to stay out of each other's lanes is to collaborate to bury any information about their relationship (i just think this would be rlly funny).

Raiden takes the gang suit shopping sometimes for fun. Rook and Leni usually walk off to get things they'd like, but Val sticks around because she likes a few similar styles.

Raw strength-wise, Nim would win a full-cast arm wrestling contest because fives can redirect ichytotypes (forgot hoe they're spelled, mb) into their muscles. In actuality, they would hold back and Zaya would distract them into dropping their guard and she'd win.

M has the unregistered tenth kinesis, which I believe to be control over bodies. (Corpokinesis maybe?). She can manipulate bodies in various ways (breaking Valerie's ankle, healing Zaya, mixing new DNA into Nim). I think it drains her life force to heal others though - to make new material, it uses bits of her. Just my explanation for her hands turning black as she healed Zaya and why she needed blood packs for her.

Nim was Andromeda and M dug up their body to bring them back and convince them that Cupid did it with some sort of memory wipe. No concrete proof of that yet but it would be in-character for her.

THUNDERSTRUCK HEADCANONS

(Most of these take place after zaya and nim get together bcuz I cant wait any longer)

-all the responders were HORRIFIED when they found out that Z-700 and triple threat were dating (they like kissed during a fight cuz yee)

-Sai used to have long hair but chopped it off with seb and cupid for fun and loved it

-Whenever cupid and seb have a petty fight sai feels like a child of divorce

-I almost said that Astrid and sai def went to pride but I remembered there not allowed outside lmaoo

-raiden eats cheese and hot sauce

-Nim thinks Zayas manical laughter is hot

-Astrid and sai are chappell roan fans

-Zaya doesn't get drunk easy but when she does she gets DRUNK

-After Zaya and Nim got togther Nim's contact name stayed the same except she just added a red heart at the end

-Cupid got bored one time and stuck a knife in a toaster

-Seb has to go into Cupids room multiple times a week to tell her to shut up because she is always screaming in voice chat
