Yeah, that and seeing the very last quote in the game, sounds like BB’s getting a sequel of sorts with Alpha (?). (inb4Mori: It’s not getting an Extend because IT’S GETTING AN ALPHA!)
Personally, I was thinking it was like this, Tsubaki and Makoto were really at that place with Noel and Lambda which happened some time after the events. Then the scene with Valk showed him serving tea to an empty table (Nago and Gii looking worried) which seemed to imply Rachel hasn’t been around them for quite some time.
When new!Tsubaki appeared, Tsubaki seemed to imply that ‘time has passed’ and Rachel’s reaction was like ‘has it been that long? i haven’t noticed since i spent most of my time here at ragna’s grave’ (she didn’t actually say this but she DID react to the ‘long time’ part). So I was thinking it was standard Tsubaki but some timeskip happened before Rachel’s scene but what happened? Why the need to censor it? Mori we need answers gdi. :,D

Luckily, he survived. :,D I was thinking he’d end up with Tsubaki but that didn’t seem to be the case. He’s still in NOL and was last seen wearing a nice suit.
