I only know a few xana songs, so I'm sure you know more than me. Which one is your favorite?

this is like asking me my favorite pokemon do you know how hard this is. it changes a lot depending on mood too. and there's recency bias. the entire deluxe album makes me FUCKING INSANE tho i genuinely think it's some of her best work and i never see this kind of distilled quality in ALL the bonus tracks usually they don't stand out but it feels like every XANA song stands out tbh. like i have a playlist that is literally just crying after sex, Confidential, Cocaine, and Save The Bullets, Baby! and i've been listening to it on repeat since they dropped. all four of them are my current favorite song (also crying after sex should be listened to through headphones holy shit the whole experience changed when i got in my car and it surrounded me)

that said..... ough i guess Monster, the sex was good!, and Better Kind Of Best Friend are my most-replayed on The Sex Was Good Until It Wasn't (regular)

for Tantrums... that's even harder. maybe My Therapist Told Me, Complex, or i did this all for you! but Love Like This and Cupid are so good, and- i'm about to go listing every song. jfc. I LOVE EVERY XANA SONG. the only exception really is Tipsy it's literally her only song i don't own so i forget it exists sometimes. i also had to archive 15/fifteen but i DO like them it just hurts too much to listen to them, which is to say, they're good art.

for singles-only Bad Bandit is probably my most listened to now but you know i played the shit out of Pray and Goddess back in (and prior to) the Tantrums era

oh this 'favorites' is all skipping the songs that make me cry like babyblue, which arguably hit even harder, but i dont listen to them because... they make me cry

idk if you saw but they announced Kate Middleton has started chemo treatments for cancer. They were probably trying to keep it quiet and that's what led to their PR disaster 😬

OKAY. no ive been at an awful work event all day and my bones are coming apart, so thanks for catching me up lmao. see, i thought it was some medical thing that didn't go as well as they said and she was in recovery from, i just didn't think it was cancer since the other royals were pretty forthcoming about theirs. i saw she said something about wanting the time to explain it to her children in a way that was appropriate for them but like, what did they thinks of hearing everyone saying their mom was dead or a dv victim and shit. anyway that's the Least Bad option (great list to pull from) but by god does that make the pr disaster even more of a flaming garbage pile

the other (very different) story i've been keeping up with is the quest to finally beat super mario maker, and i got the ping today that the very last level they had left, which had been hugely controversial and they've been grinding for ages, was actually TAS'd and never completed legitimately to upload, thus possibly not being humanly viable and disqualifying it from their list, which means Team 0% reached their mission and when SMM servers go down next month, officially every single legitimate level anyone ever uploaded has been cleared at least once, which i just think is a really cool expression of community outpouring

Have you ever thought the first ones script looks kind of like a circuit board? This is maybe nonsense because I've barely slept this month but I thought some of the shots from the show looked similar

i have! it gets more pronounced on technology, I think, probably on purpose

like this is nonsense. this ain't words. but it looks like someone tried to draw a microchip with no reference photo yk? There are a lot of extra lines and such. on the runestones too in Destiny, it all gets extra angular. very interesting

I've never had it explained it those terms before lol but I have a dog that my parents nicknamed "kitty" when we got her because they said she acted so much like their old cat. Some dogs have a secret cat inside

things my dog does:

finds the one person in the room who doesn't want to deal with her and sits on them

looks me in the eyes when im trying to get her to pay attention to me and goes and climbs in someone else's lap. this is the ONLY time she'll cuddle, when it's directly to spite me and only me

despite all evidence otherwise, i am her favorite

gets FOMO over every social interaction whether between people or dogs and comes running over to disrupt it rather than be left out

barely any food motivation and sometimes just chooses not to eat at all but if i dont put her food in her bowl in time she knocks things over

looks me in the eyes while knocking things over so im forced to get up and let her out

i THINK we've trained this out of her but she used to jump on tables and lie there. she is 50 pounds. she is not a small dog.

screams. a lot

will turn and look at you when you call her name so you KNOW she heard you and then turn back around and keeping running away. she is half blind. she is doing this entirely to be petty

she is motivated by jealousy and spite and despite this i swear she's sweet but she is Not a good girl

1. Favorite type of music? Probably rock, I lean towards the 60s-80s, but I've grown increasingly fond of more modern music. Also, showtunes. Just all of them.

2. Favorite movie or top three? (It’s so hard to pick just one sometimes) Yeah, like three is easy. The Harry Potter movies, Addams Family movies, and because we know I can't pick lets say almost everything in the scifi/fantasy genre.

3. One place you would love to live? New Zealand, from what I hear.

4. Favorite Animal? I like most, but as for pets I've always had dogs.

5. Movies or musicals? Musical movies?

6. Favorite subject? Not in school...but I'm fond of psychology, history and literature.

7. If you could live in a fictional universe, which one would you live in? To be greedy, I think I'd like to live in the Inkheart universe (presuming I had their powers) because then I could read myself in and out of any book I chose. Is that cheating?

8. Favorite food? All food.

9. Favorite book? Again with the favorite these questions are so hard. Of course Harry Potter is up there but I'm quite fond of Inkheart, and Warm Bodies, and Peter Pan.

10. One activity you would love to do but have never tried? Motorcycle jousting.

11. One skill you would like to have? Telekinesis. Unless that's really more of an ability, so if that's not in the cards then counting cards.
