Me, I’m Not - Nine Inch Peters, year four peterz
And I guess I just wanted to tell you
As the lights start to fade
That you are the reason
That I'm not afraid
And I guess I just wanted to mention
As the heavens will fall
We will be together soon
If we will be anything at all
“inside of the add violence machine”? elaborate, i’m intrigued.
Gladly! Basically, evidence suggests that the scenario described in NIN’s ARG concept album Year Zero is a simulation being run on the machine on the cover of their EP Add Violence.
First of all, it’s a whole machine. We get to see more of it in the “This Is Not The Place” music video, in the reference guide, and on the back cover of the vinyl shown below. The front cover is cropped from the bottom right.
There are certain details connecting the projects. (Not mentioning super deep ARG-specific details. )
The video for “This Is Not The Place” features a drug from the Year Zero ARG, and it was made in collaboration with the same people behind the Year Zero ARG, 42 Entertainment
The physical component mentions the Presence, the hand in Year Zero’s cover and the voice in “The Warning”, multiple times(!)
THE PHYSICAL COMPONENT 🤤 Most of the evidence is in the physical component for Add Violence, the Panel K quick reference guide. Feel free to explore it on your own, but I’ll discuss some parts of it here:
Zero Sum
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
And soon it will be all said and done And we will all be back together as one If we will continue at all
----------
The aftermath of Akira and Satan's war, with a certain gloomy angel witnessing from an outsider viewpoint.
(Inspired by the song of the same name by Nine Inch Nails)
Trent Reznor: I can swallow it down
4 more Trent Reznors: down down down down down down down down
Love this song so bad so I made a drawing of my oc inspired by it and the gradient map was color picked from the year zero album cover
Time will feed upon your weaknesses
And soon you'll lose the will to care
When you return to the place that you call home
We will be there
Happy birthday you twisted little masterpiece
