Why is life so unfair?

My friend recently experienced a tragic death in her circle of friends. A nine-year-old was hit in a hit-and-run accident, her tiny body crushed under the weight of the runaway car. The criminal, if you will, was on his way of escaping another hit-and-run accident when he crashed into another car in Canarsie Brooklyn. The girl's sister told the press the one thing she misses most about her sister is her love.

It is really cruel how such things can happen. How people can actively leave a situation where they are perpetrators. How someone can be so absorbed in themselves to not carefully look around.
