Yes, I am here. Hello. I’ve been staying with the Alpha after some. Complicated. Circumstances. So, I am not doing particularly well, but I appreciate the hope.

Perhaps, in my younger days, I may have retorted that hope is illogical. Events simply happen, or they do not. Expecting highly of future events doesn’t make them more likely to occur.
But perhaps, now, I see the value in hope, even if it will not affect the outcome. Having something to hold onto to keep you from capitulating— there is value in that.
So I cannot say that hope is illogical. But, here, in the state we are in now, I will say that hope is… unfeasible.
Ah, apologies. I did not mean to wax poetic. I suppose my exisistential crisis has made me sentimental. Thank you for your concern, and I can assure you I know well enough how to handle Church; do not worry.
