So I’ve had a Nintendo 64 for.... years. Always had the usual little glitches of having to blow the cartridge, but it would always turn on.
I moved to a new place and dug it out to try to play it, but while the red light would come on the console, I was getting no picture. Replaced the AV cords, and tried it on two different tvs. Also tried it with different games, and still nothing.
I’ve read online that sometimes it can be an issue with higher quality tvs, but i know it worked when I had a 70-some inch 3D tv. Now I tried it on my ultra high def (the 4k ones), as well as a regular high def.
I’m not sure if it’s an issue with the console, or if my tvs are too advanced. I don’t want to buy a new console and it turn out it’s the tv.
Anyone have any idea how I can tell whether it’s the console or the tv? I don’t have access to a lower grade tv.
