hey Hezu Uh Quick Question Have You Played Until Dawn And Also Do You Play Choice Based Games

I have not, but I've seen the play through. I don't usually do choice based games? I mean, undertale is technically one I guess? Maybe?

I just find that choice based games are weirdly limited in their endings or possibilities, since the creators don't have the time or money to truly explore as many things as possible, and if they do, its often budget cut to still frames with descriptions for what happened rather than any full animated sequence.

Yall, I need you're help to find a specific gameplay I remember from years ago but just can't remember the name of. The gameplay i watched was of FusionZgamer.

There was this one game centered around trolls that tried to attack this kid reading a cursed book in his bed and to read the book you had to speak into the microphone. It didn't work for him, so he turned on an in-game auto reader. To get rid of the trolls, you had to look up from the book and stare at them. I can't remember if there were other ways to get rid of them, it's been years.

So apparently there's an update where the characters move but it doesn't seem to be working for me. I downloaded the update but none of the characters I have are moving. The phone fling characters are moving in their bundle icons but that's it. Do I have to enable something or does it only work for certain characters? Idk what to do. I was really hoping to see Aki with an idle animation

Ok I has a quemstion for the masses:

When it comes to a game - especially one that aims to be more casual and cozy in general vibe - how little tension or stress is *too* little before it stops being interesting?

Or, to put it differently, how much interest can lore, aesthetics, fun movement, and minor combat carry before a low tension and/or lack of bbeg make it boring?

Some additional context: Assume the nebulous game in question is metroidvania-esque, side-scrolling, and probably platforming based (think Mio, Worldless, etc). Some combat, and the combat is an important *part* of the game, but it's meant to feel good and have fun mechanics more than it's meant to be difficult. The movement and exploration mechanics are probably more the focus.

Character Creation question.

Hi! It's me, Goblin!

So, this has been on my mind for a bit, I was wondering if it would be preferred to give you (the player) a chance to customize the hair colour and eye colour? originally I had planned to have some selectable options, cause this would be easier for me in the end, and would give a chance to give custom interaction later.

ex. Blond reaction. "Sorry for staring, I simply, well, I can't help but to find your hair a marvellous colour, its rarely seen where I am from." He pauses with a smile, a faint blush spreading across his dark cheeks, yet he doesn't avert his eyes. "Like wheat, golden... it's... very gorgeous." Auburn reaction. "You will fit in well." He nods at you, all while staring at your auburn locks. "Both Sigurd and $Sname have a similar colour. It suits you well."

This wouldn't be possible with custom colours, but I will try to add some cool options, like white, silver.

This said, would having name suggestions as options be okay, or would you prefer to give your character a name yourself (this option will always be there) Personally I find it nice to be given name options, especially if I can't come up with one myself.

Also I would be really thankful to hear any tips for available hair colours, skin colours and eye colours! (So I have a wide variety :D) I am thinking of making a poll on this too
