Sp I picked up Nioh cus it was like 70% off and I gotta say. The gore physics in this game are hilarious. What is their obsession with decapitation?
So I started the game and you're given a broadsword as your starting weapon. I'm fighting the first enemy, a prison guard, and I swipe at him with the sword and his head comes right off. I'm like. Well that was a thing.
Next weapon I pick up is the bow. I manage to get a clean stealth snipe kill and the guard's head comes right off, and I'm like. Well that was kind of cool. Reminds me of Princess Mononoke.
Next weapon I pick up his a bigass smashy heavy axe. I'm running around with it, and I straight up dunk on this dude with it. Both hands over my head straight down vertical chop, and the dude's head detaches horizontally at the neck.
Seriously? That was a vertical chop. How did the head pop off like that?
Well. fast forward to the next mission. I get my first taste of blunt force in the form of a pair of tonfa, and wouldnt you know it? I punch a guy in the gut so hard his head straight up ascends as if he's a goddamn rockem sockem robot!
