Basically in the Nirvana story several Courts/Tribes combined into the main city state of the story (itll either be called Carcosa or Pantheon, im unsure) but I want some of them to remain unassimilated

The Court Of Oak isnt an option here because its alreadg established that they all are dead besides Alastor. Besides that though i'll just go off the options with the most votes for what ones are independant

Ok gang, im having a big debate about the Nirvana story and it is VERY important to how i do the lore and plot so in bringing it up to you guys

What should i do with Nikita? (keep in mind the story is generally about personhood as well as how freedom/free will is what makes us people)

A person from an opressed/enslaved group called the Janah

A robot built by a group called the Coalition of Patriots

No matter what im going to have to figure out a way for her to also be working under/for Quinn at the start of the story since that's the plan

Also, i DID figure out Quinn's deal. The most basic need to know rn is that she is princess of Ra'Quilla (the nation Carcosa is the capital city of) and is kinda indoctrinated into thinking that conquering and enslaving the Janah is a good thing (this changes when she is shown how terrible this actually is for the Janah)

ALSO also, the Coalition Of Patriots is pretty much the government/military/church of Ra'Quilla (if that sounds incredibly bad and stupid thats because it is)

You know what sucks about being an ADHD creator for me? I never ACTUALLY create, i just have ideas for stuff to create and never actually do it. This sucks especially for my original story im trying to make because I can barely stick with anything and just keep rewritting the vague draft.

So you know what? Here's what we're gonna do chat, every week im gonna post some kind of update on progress for the story, and im expecting at LEAST ONE of you to be annoying in my asks about posting the update at the end of each week so I actually commit to it.

So! Below the cut is gonna be my ramble of the main story concepts so far, if you ain't interested in reading it then scroll past.

As of right now there isn't an official name for the story yet but the draft title im using is Nirvana.

The story is mainly about sense of identity, the toxicity of modern christianity, and EAT THE RICH!!!

Nirvana takes place in a fictional world in a nation called Carcosa, the story itself takes on heavy influences from Indian and Native American culture (my queer ass is partly native but not indian so im going to do a lot of research on indian culture) as well as obvious modern christianity.

And final thing to note here is a list of our main cast:

Nikita - Our protagonist, it's hard to describe her but think Jinx from Arcane S2 with less mental disorders and more general anger issues

Quinn - Our deuteragonist and love interest for Nikita (yes, yuri. Specifically somewhat toxic yuri at the start but it gets healthy later). I don't have too much information about her yet other than that she is a solid source of Nikita's realization of an abusive system

Chay - He's Nikita's estranged father on no fault of his own, he's generally a good guy and he has a teacup for a head (why? ...Im still figuring that out, there was good reason in one of the first drafts)

The Maw - ...So have any of you heard of the Yellow King?

Harley - He's an asshole and nonromantic Joker to Quinn's Harlequinn (cannot stress enough how there is no romance between them, it is toxic father and daughter)

Able - He's Nikita's mom and insists that you refer to him as such (no he's not transfem in the closet, Chay's the trans one and he's transmasc) I also don't have much on him but he's gonna be a big lovable idiot

Caine - Able's brother and one of the lead members for a group called the Clergy Of Patriots who are essentially the military of Carcossa. Don't get attached Nikita brutally murders him.

Nanook - Bear girlie pop and Chay's prodigee/kinda adopted daughter?

This week im going to be focusing on making the culture/religion of Carcosa wich also is kinda tied to the magic system of the story

It has come to my attention that on my previous poll i forgot to put in some zodiacs i do know a bit about and would potentially like to work with, soooo

WERE HAVING A RETRIAL!

Roman Zodiac (Aries, Pisces, Virgo, that stuff)

Chinese Zodiac (Year of Horse, Dragon, Tiger, all of those goodies)

Nahuatl/Aztec Zodiac (includes stuff like jaguars, home, and earthquakes)

Druidic/Ancient Irish Zodiac (based of trees and plants)

Algoquin/Native American Zodiac (Includes bears, owls, and meeses)

ALSO, as promised from last post i do have some more context to provide for the significance of this poll and what im doing with the current concept draft.

Basically, im combining a bunch of old ideas i liked from other drafts and putting them together, one of the main ones being fairies. I want to have the story be in a fantasy setting populated by different courts of fairies that are now united under one banner and i want each court to be based of zodiac signs but i need to get just one zodiac to work with.

I know that isnt the most informative but im still in early phases of roughing out the concepts and how im putting stuff together

Ok so for the nirvana story (name's deffo gonna changd) ive already said im switching gears by combining the best bits of previous drafts imo wich is why we're doing fairies now

But! That also means im doing superhero stuff somewhat similar to mha (except without all the lost potential in exchange for fanservice cause horikoshi is a CREEP) so i want to know what all of you think would be cool features of a hero soceity and what you guys like in those!

Everytime i think of stuff for the Nirvana story i immediately go "but isnt that just JJK?" and NO! IT IS NOT JUST JJK! GEGE DOES NOT HOLD THE MONOPOLY OF EVIL SPIRIT LIVING INSIDE THE PROTAGONIST NOR DOES HE OWN THE IDEA OF STRETCHING OUT MAGIC POWERS TO MAKE A POCKET DIMENSION!

Heres the current confirmed cast of characters for the Nirvana story btw, ill hopefully be able to do a full update later on it:

Nikita Conláed - Our protagonist, she has WAY to many anger problems due to being a gladitorial slave most of her childhood, she REAAAALLY just wants to do something on her own accord. Also: GAY! GAY! MEGA GAY! ULTRA GAY! MOTORCYCLIST BUTCH GAY!

Quinn Pandora - Princess of the main setting, she's very morally questionable at the start but she does want the best for her people, shes just not very aware of other peoples actual wants and needs due to being isolated

Zahak Pandora- Quinn's father and was prophecized to finally bring an end to the evil sun god Mul-Apin, this prophecy was used as reason for him being king

Casimir Conláed- Nikita's father (renaming of Chai), he's also enslaved but rather than a gladiator he's a smith for their weapons since inventing and metalworking was what he was good at when he was free. Yes, he's still transmasc.

Alastor Loïc - (Not based off of Alastor from HH, the name's greek and fits him) He's one of the top heroes out there, known as Travail, and one of the last member of the Court Of Oak during the time of Courts. He manages to pull some strings to get Nikita out of gladitorial pits and into a hero school

Acheron Leviathan - (Name might change later) The principal of the currently unnamed hero school Nikita and Quinn are in. At first he seems very intimidating but he's just sweet nervous guy with a resting bitch face. He want's to do all he can to ensure the safety of his students and staff. Also, he may or may not end up becoming Nikita's adoptive "mom" (similar to Able, he's not transfem but he'll insist on being refered to as Nikita's mom, not dad)

Bernadette Anahí - (reworking of Nanook) Nikita's friend once they start doing hero school stuff, she isnt the best at fighting bad guys but that doesnt matter to her as much as helping people does

Rai Alderic - A hero more commonly known as Minotaur, Casimar used to work with him to make his power suits but something happened wich is the cause for Casimar and Nikita's enslavement. Basically Rai's an asshole, he doesnt want to help people he just wants the fame and glory from it
