Aaaaaand I was right not continuing with my VNAs reading. If John Peel wasn’t enough…
Ah, John Peel, my arch enemy. Well, one of my arch enemies. Dave Stone probably takes the top spot because he’s the only writer so bad I literally cannot read his work. Like just physically can’t get through more than a few paragraphs. Even The Pit is more readable than his stuff.
I actually do like the VNAs though and don’t regret reading them, but I think I liked them as a whole more than I liked many of the individual books (though some of them are very good---anything by Kate Orman is likely to be worth reading). One certainly has to slog through a lot of mediocre to bad content to get to the gold, but it’s rewarding all the same.
