Nivo's wings could never carry her this high, not as high as SkekVask's aircraft ever could, she could never get tired of this. She and the Pilot have gotten into a relationship of sorts. It took them a while but the feelings Nivo feels for him are romantic.
While she feels exceeding happiness, she also cannot help being a little troubled.
The Pilot is probably one of the most intelligent and kindest Skeksis (or Skeklings) there is, she feels incredibly lucky to have met him. Of course there is the issue of his supposed immortality and her...fleeting mortality. Does she need to be like SkekTek and continuously find ways to cheat death just to be with him? That option...Is not off the table but...
"Nivo? Are you alright?" SkekVask asks, standing above her. In her thoughts, she didn't notice that he stopped the propeller so the zeppelin would hover in place. His red warm eyes are soft, and transfixed on her.
Nivo sighs, not wanting to ruin their reverie. "It's nothing. Really."
SkekVask sits next to her. "Are you sure?"
Nivo sighs and puts her metallic/wooden hand on his. "I'm not...quite ready to talk about it." She knows she cannot avoid talking about it. And her fear of opening up to others caused her dreamfasting ability to haywire. "Can we talk about it when we land?"
Vask tilts his head, hair in the breeze passing his eyes. "If that's what makes you comfortable..."
Nivo smiles. It's an adventure. Full of dangerous territory and unknowns. It's terrifying and yet...intriguing.
"How about you teach me how to steer?" She stands up, eager to continue.
