The stages of Gin telling a joke.
( @nixalegos )
Gin’s IC drawing of @nixalegos while he’s ranting about high elves in the middle of Silvermoon.
"Things have gotten so bad, Silvermoon's guards are tolerating open summons in the streets..." The hooded man said. "...Possibly to keep a better eye on the lot of us after the disaster in the Row."
Iantha's eyes darted, scanning the street that should have been much busier, given the time of day. Even after only a few seconds, she'd already read the mood: tense, anxious, uncertain.
She nearly jumped out of her skin when the voice — smooth, familiar — had mumbled too closely to her ear.
"Ashes, Felscythe," she cursed. "Give some warning, would you?" She didn't so much as slow her pace, let alone stop. "What disaster in the Row? I've been tied up in the arse-end of Azeroth looking after other problems. You'll have to fill me in, I'm afraid."

Let me get an Uinen in A5
Dont you hate it when your dinner fights back!
@nixalegos asked:
"I need a favor, a charm or a token of yours I can set into my wards so they don't you know, freak out if you try to sneak in to some new places of mine."
Hel stared at Felscythe, the slightest narrowing of her eyes as she wondered at his intentions. The words that followed explained his request well enough but a bead of doubt furled around her throat as she watched his cowl-shadowed features for signs of the betrayal she always expected.
She maintained her stare a long, quiet while. Measured calculation as she ran her tongue across the backs of her teeth. The sting of ancient betrayal burned in her eyes. Or perhaps that was tears she slowly blinked back. Trust felt like words so long unspoken the shape of them came out wrong. Like a language so familiar and completely foreign all at once. It filled her with a fear and panic she would never admit to.
Finally, she slowly reached a hand beneath her tunic and pulled a chained pendant over her head.
Holding it out, the chain dangling from her closed fist, Hel glared at Felscythe with an unusual seriousness. "If I trust you.. and you betray me.. know that the history books will remember your name as the seed of ruination."
