Mitsuki's Backstory

Okay, so I've had this in my drafts for a while. It's essentially part 1 of Mitsuki's backstory on how did she end up being raised by Mystake. I hope ya'll like it cuz it kinda took me a long while to write. Been busy with thesis and what not hehe. Anywho, hope you guys enjoy. If you're curious about any more parts of my ninjago OC's life, feel free to comment and I might post about it ^w^

How did they end up with Mystake? To escape the never-ending suffering of the Oni realm, a young Oni finds a way to escape the darkness and find his way to Ninjago. A world of light, balance, and peace, things he was not familiar with. He shifts his looks to fit in and finds himself trying his best to live amongst the humans. It was nothing like his first home, but that is what they needed. Before he knew it, he fell in love. He didn't even know that was possible; someone like him, born without even the slightest fraction of light in his heart, to fall in love with someone. He found it ironic that an elemental master of shadow, Dusk, served as the light of his life, even after she learned his true identity.

By the end of the Serpentine Wars, word got out of Dusk's husband's true identity, and a rift between the elemental masters and the master of shadow had formed. Dusk knew her husband had to go back to the Oni realm. He did not want to; he liked Ninjago and everything about it, but he knew that his staying might just bring more trouble to her and his child. He asked Mystake, a fellow Oni in Ninjago, to help Dusk raise her baby, and maybe even train them to control their powers. As he returns to the Oni realm, Mystake and Dusk's younger brother, Shade, all helped Dusk as she was pregnant. However, Dusk went into labor earlier than anticipated.

One night, as Shade was just about to head to sleep, he heard his sister shouting: "THE BABY IS COMING!" Shade's first instinct was to go at his sister's side before calling for an ambulance. They were promised 10 to 15 minutes, but they did not have that kind of time. In a panic, Shade took Dusk to Mystake. She was trusted by Dusk's husband, surely she knew what to do. To Shade's relief, she has some experience delivering babies, but she could not promise this was going to be easy. This was her first time helping a human deliver a baby she had with an Oni. Shade looked at Dusk, who simply smiled back at him softly, as if she was telling him to trust Mystake. He had no other choice and agreed. Mystake grabs her tools, a tub of water, towels, and pillows. Shade could not bare to see his sister in such pain as she was giving birth, pushing out a little grey baby with strands of purple and black in their hair, and purple veins lining their skin. The birth was a success, Mystake carrying the baby as Shade cuts the umbilical cord, before looking at the little one with a small smile. Mystake brings the baby to Shade, looking at his niece as the moonlight from the window shines on their skin. Shade gives the baby over to Dusk, who held them closely. "What are you gonna name her?" Shade asks, Mystake wondering the same thing. Dusk looks outside, seeing the full moon shining in the night sky.

She names the little one Mitsuki—"The Beautiful Moon."

Before Mitsuki could even talk, Dusk passed away after complications in recovering. Mystake feared this would happen, and Shade was devastated. In a fit of anger, he left Mitsuki to Mystake; the joy he had in his eyes was replaced by hatred. Hatred for the little oni who "killed" his sister. Now, only Mystake was left to raise the little Mitsuki.

Sooo first of all, it's been a while and I have been pretty busy for the past few days. First off, gonna start my internship soon!! Next, I'll finally be working on my thesis >w< and so recently I have been going back to old stuff I enjoy (specifically creepypasta, no clue, it just kinda appeared on my reels and I got invested). Next thing I knew, I found a couple of dating sims and visual novels and I have been hookedd. I don't think I ever really made a creepypasta when I was a teen but god was I invested back then. Anywhooo, thats all for me. Hopefully I could make more time to write HAHHAAHASJDHASKD see yalll

Me recommending my cousin a show like I am setting her up with a guy surprisingly works way more than I expect because I managed to get her to watch ninjago because I thought Kai and Jay were her type of guys.

Does anyone else listen to a song and just create a distribute the lines among characters and just imagining a really nice Idol AU of their favorite cartoon?

Cuz I kinda did that with Memories by SB19 and the ninja AHAHAHAHAH I dunno what is it with me and always putting esbi and ninago together >w<
