I tripped over my own feet on the way to dinner, going down hard. My first thought was to yell "Get my phone" to @lauradunhoff as I landed on all fours. I'm just scraped and sore. So tonight while Laura dipped into the rooftop pool, I soaked my feet. It was pretty cool to do that on a roof overlooking the Mississippi River. Some of my colleagues down in southern New Mexico have been moving powerfully through a coalition they informally call the Brown and Green coalition. They have been raising awareness for what 45s wall, and the shadows beyond said wall, will do to our communities, our wildlife, and our land. I was invited to join them in NOLA for #NN18 to participate on a panel, as #nmleg representative—working for the same things they have over the course of the year, through public policy in the legislature.
