Does anyone know if Reborn ever dressed up as a locker and a soccer ball in the animanga? I'm wondering if these costumes were exclusive to the stage play or if it just wasn't listed in the Wiki. I'm trying to make a Reborn disguises gifset and put it side by side with the original, but I'm stuck with these two;;;

Idk if it's just cus i'm crazy about hnk and nge at the same time, but it feels like both shows have similar themes and that there is some similarities between phos and shinji. What are your thoughts?

hell yeah there are. i feel like hnk and nge are both about free will in a sense.

what you do, what your future will be is up to you, you get to choose. which is also why both shows are heavy on existentialism: what’s the right choice? what does it mean to choose? why do i have to? what is right and what is wrong? who determines which is what?

hnk makes a stronger case for free will because in nge shinji’s choice is kind of forced. he still makes it but it’s a non choice because if he doesnt choose to pilot evas humanity as a whole will be annihilated. so yeah, no pressure at all.

in hnk, no one, literally no one, pressures phos into starting off on their journey. on the other hand, people try to stop them at a certain point and phos realizes that wanting to know the truth might not be the best thing in the end.

i could literally go on for hours talking about this. i love both anime to bits and compared them a few times already (just like other people in this fandom).
