Idk if u got an answer about shiny zigzagoon but I ended up just chaining them in the first area( route 2i think) until a shiny one showed up. And the ones with the yellow aura just means they r stronger. Some of the strong Pokémon can’t be caught tho cause they won’t let their guard down :(
