Yes, I require the Job, I am qualified- Batfam AU
So, you guys know those fics where Tim is still a baby and everyone is about Canon age ranges? So, imagine that Tim, smol baby, feral stalker baby, too smart for his age baby, excited for each new iteration of Robin, Batgirl, and Bat in general. But the 2nd Robin would always be his favorite, HIS Robin even if he had been so little when the 2nd Robin had died and come back years later as the Red Hood. But he made sure Crime Alley was safer and people walked around more at night again, and he could go to Judy's Diner more since it got robbed less! Anyway, he knew his Mother and Father loved him a lot but they were busy and could forget him during their digs and it was Summer Break! No school and just plain home alone, which meant no meals from school and no company like the dorms at the academy. He needed to TRAVEL for those and he needed MONEY for that. He had the card they got him, but he knew so many people asked too many questions when a ten-year-old by themselves presented a Black Credit Card to a teller for some Zetsi and donuts, he'd be jumped! No no, he needed a job. Something to get cash and use that like a normal person. So, after a night of taking pictures (he got a really cool one of the newest Robin showing a victim his sword! He always knew the newest Robin wasn't just a big dummy), he was resting on the fire escape when he heard Red Hood and Nightwing above him! Eyes wide in excitement, he listened to his two heroes, trying to be as quiet as possible. And? The Red Hood needed someone to handle things on a computer? He was great at computers! He even broke into the JL tower once for a WHOLE hour! And they would be part of the Goonion! He had heard pretty nice things from them, mostly from The Penguins' workers, so he knew it would be a good start at least... So, he decides to apply! But he needed to make sure to sound grown up and make sure he could work from home, Crime Alley was still a far distance from Bristol, especially Drake Manor :(( . "Hi, yes," he begins in his most adult sounding tone, making sure to pronounce his words like Mother taught him, "I am, um, A-Alvin Draper and I am interested in the job." Or: Kid!Tim tries to join Red Hood's 'workforce' and Jason already feels the white hairs spreading at the clearly toddler sounding kid on the phone.
