Doctor's Appointment
I saw my MD on Tuesday. Everything is OK - not much bone healing but I was told that is to be expected at this stage. I was given my ROM exercises and twice a day I have to do 10 flexion, 10 extension, 10 circles left, and 10 circles right with a no pain, no gain attitude. Basically I go as far as I can comfortably go and then push it a little farther so I can start loosening up the joint. I never realized how frickin hard bending and rotating my ankle was until I started these. I was also given the OK to keep the boot off except when sleeping and going places since I find it to be so uncomfortable. I think that so far it was the best news I had gotten. When I got home that afternoon, I took off the brace and put on a slipper sock. I did my exercises and was just happy that I have been able to start moving forward. I don't see my doctor for another 2+ weeks but if everything looks good I will be allowed to start putting weight on it and possibly start physical therapy. Progress. It is all progress.
When in doubt...reset CMOS...no seriously...reset it.
When your computer does not boot. When no image comes on the screen. When it does not go into your bios. Do yourself a favor and follow these simple steps to trouble shoot.
1. Check RAM slots: the number 1 reason for no boot in a computer is when you didn't plug in one of the RAM in correct. So do that.

2. Check the 4pin or the 8pin power connector make sure these are plugged in. these are the second most common problem to a "no boot" computer. Also check the CPU fan. Some mobo will not start if the CPU fan is not plugged in.

3. Check Video card and Power connectors to it. You may also want to check and see if you have a working card by applying to another computer if have one. Or move a known working card from another computer to yours.

4. Reset the god damn CMOS. It resets everything in the BIOS to default. giving you a safe boot.
This should be able to fix the problem. If the problem persists. then you should probably look to a professional or RMA your poor board.
(There are other small things i didn't cover such as check power supply and us MemOk! from specific boards.) I ran into problems with my computers and learned these the hard way. hopefully this was a fun read for ya'll.
