The beginning of the 1910s saw elements of the previous decade's fashions carry over into the new century. However, World War I had a profound effect on society and culture, significantly slowing down sartorial evolution. The S-shape made popular in previous decades softened, with skirts beginning to taper and shorten, and the empire waist coming back into vogue. War time meant clothing simplified even further come the mid decade, as utilitarian attire became more and more necessary. After the war ended, simple styles continued and a barrel like silhouette emerged, which would later evolve into the drop waist style synonymous with the 1920s. Outfit details under the cut.

The Ohan'ali Temple, once the traditional home of a tribal chieftain, has been added to and rebuilt in every generation from the time of the first settlers to the present day. It is still an influential place in the spiritual and urban life of Ohan'ali, but with the influx of tourists it now functions as a sanctuary and wedding venue.
Spa "Whale Tail". There used to be a fishing pier here. With the influx of tourists, it was decided to turn it into a small spa complex with a jacuzzi, a sauna, and a bar area. Yoga classes are also held here on a regular basis for all the sporty guests of the island.
"Twiki" Shops, which have stood the test of time and survived for decades in the growing jungle, are quite popular among both locals and tourists. Here you can not only buy souvenirs, but also diving equipment and sign up for a dive, because one of the shops is owned by the well-known diving community "Davy Jones".
