নিজস্ব সংবাদদাতা : সবকিছু ঠিকঠাক থাকলে আগামী ১৮ এপ্রিল পুরনির্বাচনের সম্ভাবনা। তবে শুধুই কি কলকাতা পুরসভার নির্বাচন হবে ১৮ এপ্রিল নাকি কলকাতা পুরসভার সঙ্গে আরো কোনও করপোরেশনের নির্বাচন হতে পারে? নির্বাচন কমিশন সূত্রে খবর, এই মুহূর্তে যা পরিস্থিতি তাতে পুরভোট নিয়ে সিদ্ধান্তহীনতায় ভুগছে রাজ্য সরকার‌। পশ্চিমবঙ্গ নির্বাচন কমিশনের নিজেদের মতো করে রাজ্যের ১০৮টি পৌরসভায় ভোট করানোর প্রস্তুতি শুরু করেছে। কিন্তু রাজ্য সরকার এখনও ভোটের দিনক্ষণ নিয়ে কোনও চূড়ান্ত সিদ্ধান্তে আসতে পারেনি বলেই নবান্ন সূত্রে খবর। এর আগে একাধিকবার একাধিক দিন নিয়ে বিভিন্ন সূত্র মারফত জানা যাচ্ছিল। কয়েকদিন আগে ৫, ৯ এবং ১২ এপ্রিল, এই তিনটি দিনের মধ্যে কোনও একদিন কলকাতা পুরসভার নির্বাচন হতে পারে বলে চর্চা হচ্ছিল। কিন্তু এখন নতুন করে শোনা যাচ্ছে এপ্রিল মাসের তৃতীয় সপ্তাহে সম্ভবত ১৮ এপ্রিল হতে পারে পুর নির্বাচন। আগামী ২৭ মার্চ শেষ হবে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক পরীক্ষা। আবার ২৪ এপ্রিল থেকে শুরু হচ্ছে মুসলিমদের পবিত্র রমজান মাস। এই সময়ের ব্যবধানেই সরকার রাজ্যের সমস্ত পৌরসভায় ভোট করাতে চায়। কিন্তু, ২৭ মার্চ ভোটের দিন ঘোষণা ধার্য করলে, কমপক্ষে দুই সপ্তাহের বেশি সময় দিতে হবে রাজনৈতিক দলগুলিকে প্রচারের জন্য। সেক্ষেত্রে ১২ এপ্রিলের পর প্রথম দফার ভোট হতে পারে। সেই সময়ে কলকাতা ও হাওড়া পৌর নিগমের ভোট হতে পারে বলেই মনে করছে প্রশাসনিক কর্তা ব্যক্তিরা। কিন্তু প্রশ্ন হচ্ছে, এই দুই বৃহৎ পৌর নিগমের ভোট করা হলে বাকি পৌরসভাগুলির ভোট হবে কবে? তাহলে কি রমজান মাস কাটিয়ে ২২ মে-র পর বাকি পৌরসভাগুলির ভোট হবে? তেমন সম্ভাবনা উড়িয়ে দিচ্ছে না নবান্নের একটি সূত্র। নবান্ন থেকে সবুজ সংকেত না মেলায় তাই খানিকটা পৌরভোট নিয়ে ধন্দে পড়েছে নির্বাচন কমিশন। তৃণমূল সূত্রে খবর, কলকাতা পৌর নিগম সহ অন্যান্য পৌরসভার ভোট এপ্রিল-মে মাসে করানো হলেও, আসানসোল ও বিধাননগর পৌর নিগমের ভোট পুজোর আগে করাতে চায় রাজ্য সরকার। এক্ষেত্রেও কোনও সিদ্ধান্ত হয়নি বলেই জানা গিয়েছে। এমন সিদ্ধান্তহীনতার পরিস্থিতিতে, ভোট ঠিক কবে হবে ? তা নিয়ে জোর দিয়ে বলতে পারছেন না নবান্নের বরিষ্ঠ কর্তারা।
