okay but what if we were childhood companions/almost lovers/one half of each others soul but the world stole me from you and you from me and forced us to turn on each other but i kept a piece of us locked away and treasured it until the day i hoped it would bring you home to me when for so many reasons i know that it won't because we dont have a choice our tragedy was written by other people's hands but i still love you and i needed you to know even it was never going to be enough to save us. what then?

2. Do they play any instruments? Sports? 

Dex can pick out a couple notes on a bass, but he’s never really sat down to try. He might pick it up again in the near future though! It just hasn’t crossed his mind since he dropped outta high school and very (very) briefly toyed with the idea of a band. As for sports - pick up games are about as far as it goes. Too much ‘team building’ for him (as a kid anyway. He’s gotten better about that)

5. What position do they sleep in?

Starfish. Octopus. Generally ‘gangly creature finally having enough room to stretch out’. Sleeping with Nate though - spooning. Or octopus again. He clings.

10. What songs remind you of them? 

I need you to know that I have a very nice TWC playlist, filled with poets of the fall, hozier, barns courtney, rock ballads in general, etc.

And then there’s Sister Sin by Nickelback. Which is literally the reason Dex is the way he is, so. Don’t Fight It by 10 Years is a close second though, especially with him and Nate.
