“Nope.” Regulus says, popping the ‘p’ on the word. “She still thinks it’s a ‘hobby’ and ‘unbecoming for a member of the infamous Black Family’ no matter how successful we are.” Regulus rolls his eyes.

“Isn’t she the one that forced you to learn like 25 different instruments when you were younger? Shouldn’t she be glad you’re actually putting all that musical talent to use?” James asks.

“Maybe if I was a world class pianist or a first chair violinist… Drummer for a metal band doesn’t really fit the bill.” Regulus huffs. “She says it makes me too much like Sirius.” Regulus smiles to himself because what she thinks is an insult is actually the highest compliment.

James sees the smile and gives him a soft smile in return like he knows exactly what Regulus is thinking. Regulus clears his throat and looks away.

Hi! I love all your Leo and Alba content but I’m just too shy to comment directly. I keep going back and rereading all the things and I can’t imagine Leo with anyone else now.

I really like the AU where Alba is one of Big Mama’s people. Just wondering how Leo would win her over when she’s even more stubborn and serious.

I do miss brainstorming more scenarios and doodles for the Nexus!AU so this right here was the perfect oportunity! 🙈

Funny thing about this AU is that since Alba is technically sided with Big Mama despite her discreet attempts at helping them, Leo doesn’t trust her one bit.

He teases and pokes fun at her to find weak spots he can use for his benefit in his personal vendetta for the shady lady. She DID trick and try to kidnap or elliminate them on many instances and Leo does not take kindly to those who dare hurt his family.

Furthermore, it won’t be until much later that he and the rest of the fam get to even see her face. And to make things worse, he’s going to be pretty vocal about her 'underwhelming looks' 👀💦 Leo is a salty ass teetle, you see.

So in the Nexus!AU, Alba will be the one trying to 'win Leo over'.

She’s going to work her butt off trying to prove to the Hamato that she can be trusted while also keeping a low profile so that her evil godmother won’t figure her out.

Give somewhat fake-but-not-quite reports to the boss lady? Check.

Get in the way of the fam when they’re closing in on traps? Check.

Drop obscure hints of Big Mama’s plans? Check.

Exaggerate her clumsiness to benefit the fam? Check.

Refuse to fight and only dodge their attacks when engaging them in combat? Check.

When Alba eventually uses her gear to save Leo once he gets thrown off a window and onto his possible demise after getting disarmed, he starts to catch on to what she’s really been doing.
