According to the eyewitnesses of Dragon Con and the creative minds of Tumblr, David Tennant smells of flowers and his eyes are chocolate and his mouth tastes pink. I demand to know who's responsible for all this girlishness.
so yesterday some kids set fire to the bush out the back of my house, on a 33 degree day.
They set multiple fires all along the bush at the edge of the swamp, so it was much bigger than it could have grown by itself, as several fires merged together. and while the swamp itself won’t burn, the trees and grasses do.
it came within two metres of our back fence.
the firefighters are still out there today making sure it’s all over.
it was horrifying looking out the window to find out whats making popping sounds and just being confronted with a wall of fire. the wind, thankfully was blowing away from us, but that meant i didn’t smell it either.
its all under control and everyone is safe, but a large amount of habitat was lost, lots of animals have been displaced and others have presumably been killed. its heartbreaking and so unnecessary.
now everything smells like bushfire, and all the scrub and grass is burned away. It doesn’t look familiar anymore and im having a hard time with the derealisation thats causing.
