🚨SPOILERS AHEAD STOP HERE NOW!!!🚨
'I minded many other things at the time: but what I still mind most is the curtain coming down so suddenly, leaving it all unfinished and meaningless. If there had just been a closing phrase, however painful — well, I could have borne it better. A word could have been enough, the one word 'darling' recognizing what we had been to each other, summing it all up!'
L. P. Hartley, from The Hireling
Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems that the campaign to save the Six of Crows spin-off and the third season is over. I notice a climate of mistrust and resignation... now, I don't know if it's all over here (too bad! we had done so much! and we were just ignored by the great enemy) but I have to say a couple of things. Meanwhile, I personally had a lot of fun in this fight, I loved the climate of unity that was created, the strength to make one's opinion heard, to oppose the system of irrational cancellations. ok, apparently we will never have anything, at least as far as this series is concerned (correct me if I'm wrong) but for months we have made our disappointment felt. we made the cast and crew feel our love, we made the enemy feel our resentment. we fought against the system. we lost? apparently yes. but we also won. because we tried. because we made the world understand that no, we didn't agree. we didn't lower our heads right away. we rebelled. we took away a few bricks from an enemy who well... today won but there is a flaw in the system... and then who knows what the future holds for us? ok this series is over but the grishaverse still exists. there are books. there are these two seasons. as soon as the film rights expire, other services can take that world into their own hands and adapt it. okay there will be another cast. another crew... but at this point I would also be curious to see another adaptation. a third group representing our beloved characters. the crows in the book. netflix's crows and well future crows . because life goes on, changes, reshapes itself, has a thousand possibilities. as they say, one door closes, another opens. today we lost... but maybe in the future (like for Percy Jackson) we would have another adaptation that maybe won't be cancelled. a platform out there has felt our love, our interest... a TV film will be made on another of the author's works soon. it will certainly be fine. so in my opinion in a few years we would have another Grishaverse adaptation as soon as the rights to the Netflix project expire. so let's not despair. it's the end, but it's also a new beginning... meanwhile we made our love felt... we rebelled. we fought. and that's what always matters in the end. rebel when things aren't going well. have the courage to say no. and folks, we said no. we shouted. and we made ourselves heard. A kiss to everyone and thanks for fighting with me. while waiting for another adaptation we reread the books, read and write fan fiction, draw works and do editing. we follow our beloved actors in their future projects and look back at our two seasons. and we wait for better times... karma turns and not all is lost... life is long and you never know what the future holds...

On No Goodbyes and Mythical Ninth Episodes.
Some people can't no for an answer, but there is no ninth episode of Killing Eve, and wishing and insisting there might be won't make it happen. Do you think Sally Woodward Gentle likes you so much she's going to give you an extra episode? Are you hoping if given another chance Laura Neal is going to write a better ending this time?
Hope is a good thing. Some mornings Hope is the best reason to get out of bed, but hoping for unrealistic, unobtainable things is not a good thing. As my dear old dad used to say, "Shit in one hand and Hope in the other and see which fills up first."
I dearly love the KE fandom, but some of you guys are waiting for a train that is never going to arrive. All you're doing is setting yourself up for disappointment.
There is no ninth episode. There is no resurrection and no redemption coming. Not for this misbegotten mistake of a final season and not for that cruel joke of a finale. I’ve also read where fans are wondering where the parting words from Sandra and Jodie are to them and that the fact they haven't done one is further evidence there's still more Eve and Villanelle to come. My only answer to that is “What?”
Okay, I'll play along, but here's one question. Why would they say 'goodbye? They are both done with all things Killing Eve. It was a job and now the job is over.
They don't owe anyone anything. They did the show, they did the press and now Sandra and Jodie's commitments are complete. They can leave it up to Laura Neal and Sally Woodward Gentle to go out there and lie their asses off over how wonderful it all was. A visit to Jodie and Sandra's Instagram pages reveals almost nothing from the fourth season. There were a few pics of Sandra and Jodie together or with other casts, but otherwise, NADA.
I don't think it's odd at all that they haven't posted anything. Quite the opposite, really. To me this screams, "We're finished!" and there's nothing more to say about it. Not even a goodbye beyond the brief one that appeared after the finale Every picture tells a story and sometimes the picture you don't see tells a story by its absence
If the stars of the show were going to say their farewells, they would have by now. They have not and not doing so is a strong indication they have nothing more to say.
Jodie and Sandra are done. Let them live.
