Forgot to say, “no straw” at lunch today.

I know people who want plastic straws banned have good intentions but having the plastic cup lids/attached plastic straw instead is using more plastic. Paper straws cut down more trees. Metal straws can be hazardous in damaging for your gums and teeth. And using no straws isn’t an option for many disabled people. So unfortunately there’s no winning.

Today I would like to bring up a topic that should be talked more about. Recycling!!! There are so many ways to do it! It just take a little effort. You can help by simply reducing the amount of waste you produce. Just like saying "no straw please" when you go get food. If you get take out. Ask them to keep their plastic ware and use your washable utensils. So many different ways! You can truly impact the world! Let's all save the planet!! 🌍🌏🌎🌲♻️🌞✌🏻😎
