HoB Cooking with Ansy - Crunchy Fried Rice
Aw dammit! Benishoga would’ve be so good with this! Anyways. XD
I’m of the opinion that every adult should know how to make at least like…5 things for themselves (doesn’t have to be fancy or all from scratch - a humble sandwich absolutely counts 🩵), & one of these essential dishes I think we should all learn is fried rice: simple, easy, & makes good use of our leftover ingredients. ^_^
I’m not sure how Link’s fried rice is “crunchy” though - I wonder if he likes it a little on the burnt side, or just uses more oil? Otherwise, it looks like a simple chahan or yakimeshi (standard Japanese fried rice), & that’s what this is, using up some of my leftovers.
There’s all kinds of different fried rice out there - my favorite is kimchi bokkeumbap (kimchi fried rice) with an egg &/or cheese on top. ^p^ Then there’s tomato fried rice topped with a omelette (aka omurice), pineapple fried rice, veggie or seafood fried rice, etc. The possibilities are just about endless! >u<
What’s your go-to for fried rice? 🍚🍳
