Thanks to @storybycorey and @alabama-metal-man for the tag earlier. Here’s me in all my unphotogenic glory...
and 2 show adorable baby me with either no hair or blonde hair. I was cute once.
and 4 is me probably middle years of junior school (seven to nine years old maybe). I wore that dress to meet Princess Margaret. Cute hair cut, called a Purdy, named after the character from the British tv show The Avengers. Note the gorgeous camel faux leather sofa suite and brown carpet. So seventies. On the right, I was a keen gymnast and our club colours were red, yellow and brown. This was pre-lycra so the leotard rode up every time. It was brown with yellow and red underarm stripes. Revolting. But I think that’s the club championship cup I’m holding.
and 6. The teen years. The 80s. I remember having red leather kitten heels to go with that red dress. It was a shirtwaister style with batwings. What even is that pattern? It’s like the old television test card. And that mini skirt/vest combo on the right is...yeah. I think I’m on holiday in Portugal or Menorca. Can’t really remember, but that is a Planter’s Punch I’m drinking when I was probably only 16...oops.
and 8 My late teens/early twenties, so on the cusp of the 90s. The highwaisted jeans, the tucked in sweat-shirt. My dad! My Hair! The dusky pink velour sofa in my parent’s house.
