Cars cars everywhere
Cars cars everywhere
and all the towns did grow
Cars cars everywhere
yet sidewalks do not show
The very town was torn straight down
for parking lots, you see
Upon their corpses roads were built
with suburbs as they be
No place to walk
No place to talk
No place to run or hide
the people baulk
at those who walk
with roads a mile wide
The suburbs ate the town we know
while stroads and streets did grow
You need a car
to go quite far
or nowhere you shall go
