I don’t vote for evil so I voted for Jill Stein.
Also Putin is evil.
Russiagate. however, is a really nutty conspiracy theory used to manipulate Democratic supporters.
Russiagate has been debunked “six ways to Sunday.”
Those who continue to promote the Russiagate narrative don’t even know they look as silly as Trump supporters do when the Trumpsters call for "The Squad” to be “sent back..”
The Democrats are not entitled to the Progressive vote.
The Democrats must earn our votes by actually giving us what we call for, which is:
A public acknowledgement that we are now in a climate crisis and solutions cannot wait until 2050, or even until 2030 but should have started 5 to 10 years ago.
Emergency efforts to save the biosphere, which will take a moon shot plus WWII levels of sacrifice and mobilization of the public.
Public education extended through the university level, including textbooks and dorm fees. - (Gods know we need all the scientists, engineers and ecologists we can get).
Student loan debt forgiveness.
General debt amnesty for those with annual income and assets of less than $500,000.
Universal Basic Income due to the rapid replacement of human employees with A.I. and robots.
For those who will still have jobs, a $25 an hour minimum wage.
Single Payer Health Care (Medicare for All) including pharmaceuticals, dental and mental health coverage.
Protection for the already existing Social Security retirement fund, including repaying with interest and adjusted for inflation what the Congress “borrowed” and never repaid.
Restructuring of the tax system so the rich shoulder their share of the revenue burden.
Massive decrease of the Pentagon and intelligence budgets and reduction of their world presence.
Tax of less than a nickel per trade on stock to help pay for social programs.
Restoration of the rights and protections for citizens (rights that have been eroded because pf Acts such as the 2012 NDAA and The Patriot Act.)
Public WiFi in every city and town.
Prison reform. No more leasing out slave labor, whether by private prisons or publicly funded prisons.
Police reform. Too many issues need to be detailed to fully cover this subject here.
Bail reform. A simple ratio formula between a person’s assets or income, so a bail can be set that a person can afford without paying a bail bondsman.
Quality services for the homeless including housing, clothing, hygiene products etc.
Protections for farm animals, abolition of farm subsidies for the meat and dairy industries.
Replace all non-renewable electrical generation with solar and wind.
Replace fossil fuel powered transportation with electric power.
Of course. neither the Republicans nor the Democrats will give the people even one of the above progressive policies, and we are now at emergency levels of need for these reforms. That is why we must have a progressive third party, not only for the Presidency but for Congress and local/state offices as well.
