I really enjoy a lot of the bad characters. Jonah Magnus/Elias Bouchard were so funny to me. Just a silly evil man. Peter Lukas was flat out relatable. Basira Just needed a bit more sleep and to get a pair of shoes that weren't a size too small. Daisy just thought she was doing what was right, and, while that doesn't excuse her, it makes her a more compelling character.
Sometimes, I get really upset that people dislike or outright hate on Basira or Daisy or Peter or even Mike Crew. Like, girl, your favourite character is Michael Distortion, who, like, isn't good! He literally said that he was keeping them around basically for entertainment. He was planning on killing the Archivist simply because he could be a liability. People love Martin despite the fact that he is manipulative and slightly clingy. Do I understand that the more popular characters are also complex? Yes, I do. But it still bothers me to see Basira (one of my top 3 favourite characters) get summed up to being a cop or to see Daisy (who we have an ex fictive of) get summed up to police brutality. Both of them are so complex, and, honestly, that's why they're such good characters.

Maybe I spent too much time in the spn fandom but I really don't think the fandom 'infighting' is bad? Maybe I'm just not in the same circles as other people but the worst I've on tumblr are people saying they don't like a character and it's never under someone who really likes that character post. No one seems to argue? All seems very polite. If you listened to the opinions people put in this blog you'd think people were sending each other death threats.
