Reagents 2144 and 2145 - Beckett and Brooke Pierson

Beckett & Noakes: They started off as fairly decent friends, they liked each other. Noakes was always respectful and patient with Beck, and they shared many peaceful conversations. However, Noakes never believed Beckett would live for long, given her demeanor. And every time she comes back alive, he expresses suspicion, wondering what she's done to survive. In turn, Beckett grows colder towards Noakes, seeing how nice he has it in his cozy little office, never having to get hurt or be subjected to the horror of any of this. Beckett can't stop herself from blaming him for being a bystander. Noakes can't make himself hate Beckett despite what she's becoming. They don't talk anymore.
Brooke & Dorris: Brooke likes Dorris so much and considers them great friends. Dorris tolerates Brooke begrudgingly because Brooke is one of her best customers, even if she buys more contraband make-up than anything. Brooke takes it upon herself to annoy Dorris constantly, giving unwarranted criticism and advice, and complaints that Dorris should sell better things, booze, drugs, and weapons in particular. Brooke also constantly haggles prices and resells things she's purchased. Dorris figures Brooke's sooner to kill herself in the Trials than ever leave this place, but she can admit she'd be disappointed if Brooke ever did die.
Beckett & Barlow: Beckett deeply likes Barlow. It's a serious infatuation. Beck is too intimidated to speak much to her, but it works out since Barlow is such a talker herself. Beck frequently visits, pressed against the wall or sitting beneath the counter, and just listens to Barlow talk about anything, about sunshine, God, a better tomorrow. When Barlow is feeling charitable, she'll read medical textbooks out loud because she knows Beck likes it. Barlow finds Beck odd but somewhat endearing, and is always sweetly condescending to her, which makes Beck feel warm inside.
Brooke & Easterman: Initially, Brooke was non-committal about Easterman. She's far too self obsessed to care about whatever it is he's droning on about on the dorm radio. She's also too high on adrenaline after the Trials to listen to any critique he might give. But, if Brooke does very well in a Trial and he praises her afterwards, Brooke will become ecstatic and refuse to leave the shuttle. Sheāll hit the walls, stomp around, and demand more attention, yelling provocation at the ceiling and cajoling for more praise, until guards have to force her to exit. Additionally, once Brooke started reading the Evidence Files, she started to find Easterman to be a real freak (said with fascination) and she really, really wants to meet him in real life.
And now for the less significant relationships!
Beckett & Easterman: Beck is not invested in Easterman. He is too far removed to be influential to her, and she does not take his praise or promises or criticisms personally. He's not a real person to her, he's just a voice. What could he understand about her, anyways? He's a piece of the puzzle, and probably not even the most important one. Easterman may not even notice what little attention she pays to him.
Beckett & Dorris: Beck is consistently too shy to talk to Doris directly, so Brooke handles all the purchases for her. They have no real opinion of each other, though Dorris is mildly surprised whenever she hears Beck is still alive.
Brooke & Barlow: They donāt interact much. Brooke initially tried to chat up Barlow and found her boring, and then tried to unnerve Barlow and again was only met with dull disinterested reactions. Brooke's given up on Barlow entertaining her, but she does get quite annoyed when Barlow calls her "the bad seed" of the twins.
Brooke & Noakes: Brooke has to see him a lot for overusing the Stun Rig so much, or shoving nails and broken glass into the crevices so it "hurts more." At first Noakes found her very unsettling and frustrating, but after a while heās just gotten tired of her. Brooke likes him, but finds his lessening reactions to be repetitive.
