Nonbinarian Pride Flag

Nonbian (nonbianary, nonbinarian or nonbinaric): being nblnb/nln only; a non-binary person attracted exclusively to nonbinary people and experiencing NO attraction to binary individuals.

I know there are folks using cetero-/skolio-/(e)scolio- or enbian for this situation, but these had multiple different definitions sporadically.

This is what happens when I need more khunbam, lolz. It’s the longest fic I’ve written yet. An alternate universe where I explored emotions, words, and my favorite ship. It may never really sail but I can dream, can’t I?

SIU owns tower of God and most of the characters here belong to him. They do act somewhat differently from canon so if you’re a stickler for that, skip it. 

A model AU where some characters who were supposedly "retired" make their appearance, I've introduced some of my own, and takes place somewhere new.

This is me playing with some ideas.

NOBIC

I just got back from taking a tour of NOBIC- the New Orleans Bio-Innovation Center. I have been reading about it for ages-- it's an amazing idea-- a building full of labs that companies can rent out and communal space for meetings so that scientists in different companies can work together.  They also rent office space to companies like the South Coast Angels Fund, which is a VC company that many of these biotech entrepreneurs will apply to for funding.  The center itself is also home to an Entrepreneur in Residence, who helps develop business plans, work on grants, and negotiate all the complexities that come with getting a biotech company up and running.  There are also Interns on staff, lots of them from the Tulane MBA program and the Law School and they help work with clients both inside the building and outside clients providing them with marketing help and assistance writing business plans, or taking care of whatever logistics they need in order to get started. 

I think I am going to apply for one of these Internships, even though the head o of the program told me I'm not really qualified because I don't have any background in the life sciences, and they were hoping that the MBAs they hired would at least have some knowledge in the field so that they wouldn't have to learn a whole new language.  But he also said I could try and if I didn't get offered an internship position I could volunteer and work closely with a client for the learning experience.

Of course it would be preferable to get an internship but when the world presents you with an opportunity to do something great, you can't just walk away because they don't pay you for it.  I really think that NOBIC is something great and I am excited to participate in any capacity.
