(Baby Ara) *is teething, crawls around, looking for things to bite on*
[Scoops him up, bouncing him gently]
And where do you think you're going, little one?

"I'm sorry, I have to know your name."
"It's Ash." She curtsied politely. "But why do you have to know so badly?"
"I wish none of this had happened." //noblefinwe
Nowë looked to the elf appointed as King of the other tribe. His brow furrowed and his head canted to the side in an almost animalistic reaction to show his confusion. "You wish Oromë had never found us? Or do you wish we had never made the journey?" he pried.
He had been among those in the beginning that was content to call the Lake their home but since leaving it, he had seen such amazing things and new things. He did not regret any of it in the least.
"Finwë, this has been a glorious opportunity and it has been good for your people. You have been a good leader for them," he insisted. "I know Elwë and Olwë agree."

*pats the baby* What do I do with it now?
"Is that blood?!"
Sitting the young elf on the desk in front of her, Nerdanel gently held his leg and looked at his knee. There was a small graze, nothing to be concerned about, but she gave him a sympathetic look. “I’m afraid so, Ingoldo, but nothing a little bandage cannot mend.”
She ought have warned her young brother-by-law to watch his steps as he made his way through her father's workshop, but she had been too nervous to even think of that. The youngest son of her father-by-law was not someone she had often spent time with, and she had hoped this time with him would help her to build bridges with him that did not yet exist. They were family, after all. Him catching his leg on a discarded sheet of iron was not the best way for it to start. She quickly pressed a bandage to the tiny wounds that dotted up his shin and gave him another apologetic look. "It won't hurt for too long, don't worry."

The 3-way fights between nolofinwefingolin, let-theships-burn and noblefinwe are hilarious xD
"Just for tonight"
Ash considered this for a moment before wiggling out of her cocoon of blankets, lifting the covers to one side so he would be able to crawl in. She would not ask his reasons; she'd lost enough sleepless nights to ill dreams and nameless fears that she would not pry into another's. And besides, it was far easier to sleep with company than alone.
