First of all I have found names for the to protagonists. The noblemans name will be Salem, which is arabic for peace. The demon will be calles Canaima, Canai for short He is a shapeshifter a and incorpates the dangers of nature.
I decided for Salem to be an elf and unlike Canai already had a specific hair style for Salem in mind, which you will see below.
Next Update will include a sketch of Canai's clothes and if I am fast enough, Salems clothes will be shown too.

I'm so excited to announce that the final concepts of Canai and Salem are sketched out. After looking for some reference I could mix together, to what I had in mind I can confidently say, I like what this sketching session resulted in. I went a bit out of my comfort zone especially with the hand poses, but I absolutely indulged in design elements I find pleasing for the eye.
So here are the results. They will get digitalized soon, with a fitting color scheme but for now you can enjoy it traditially sketched.

It's time to post another spoiler round on the concept of my webcomic to be.
!!Warning! After the wall there are spoilers on my webcomic in progress hiding. If you don’t want to get major events spoiled, please don‘t read further than this!!
Demons can depict emotions by moving their ears, while elfs have unlearned showing emotions and keep their ears up high, always on guard.
The demons are the elves ancestors and have been banished from the realm, so in open spaces Canai has to pretend he is happy, so he passes as an elf. This is very straining for him.
Meanwhile Salem is rather fascinated by Canais ability and slowly learns to depict emotions through his ears again, when being with Canai, where he relaxes the best.
Contrary to the beliefs of the vast majority, demons are not after the souls of their contract partners, instead they gain power of the bond they share with their Partners, which is why they keep their partners alive at all cost.
Tattoo of Canai is a mark to show, that he is a castout among demons and Salem knows that.
That's it for today. I'm happy for every thought, you leave in the comment.

I decided to give you some insight on what I’ve been planning today. Those are first ideas for a basic concept I’m thrilled to share with you, that hopefully are going to turn into a webcomic with time. Now keep in mind I wrote this points down in a flash of inspiration at 1 a.m. in the morning and in this first state not everything does have to make sense yet. With that said I introduce to you the first bits of concept, thrown together this morning:
!!Warning! After the wall there are spoilers on my webcomic in progress hiding. If you don’t want to get major events spoiled, please don‘t read further than this!!
The nobleman has lost it all(I haven’t thought about what exactly he has lost yet, but I’ll give a deep dive into it later. also it all sounds so very dramatic xD) and summons a demon, but instead of seeking out revenge, they use the demon as a crime fighting tool, which makes them sort of a supernatural Holmes and Watson
The demon is a runaway whose best chance of escape is to engage in a contract, which happens to be with the nobleman by chance. In this current of events they accidentally sneaked away a soul from their enemy, who was to be summoned instead. (When demons are summoned a portal in their world opens, once one demons has stepped through the portal immediately closes, by the order of the great mages of this world)
The demon is completely puzzled a bit wild in appearance and slightly panting when they meet the nobleman at first
The nobleman makes the demon cover up as their fiancée throughout the contract until they gradually fall in love with each other
Line of dialogue after the demon listened to the nobleman’s proposal: “Do you have any idea, what position you put me it?”, they exclaimed unbelievingly after listening to the nobleman’s proposal. This was as outrageous as it was tempting. And usually the demons were the ones to tempt others.
Basically this are my ideas so far. The nobleman and the demon have no set gender, name or appearance yet, so I will refer to them in their descriptive roles with they/them pronouns for now.
Genre: The Story is of the fantasy genre and is planned to play out in a whole different world so I can mesh up just everything from each time period that inspires me and build it into the world! *mwuahahahahah-… ahem* Sorry for the sudden slip up there^^*
Anyway, now it’s your turn. If you have any feedback so far, I would be happy to hear it. I will give you some questions you can use as guidelines below:
Do the bits of information you have here, make sense to you so far? Please specify on what does and doesn’t make sense.
Can you imagine the summoning scene being the beginning of the story, or would you rather want to see the comic start out, with them at a crime scene with little to no context on how they met first, before you get a flashback on the summoning?
Can you comprehend their goal and motivations? should I post another deep dive on that topic?
Of course you don’t have to answer all the questions. You can also pick one and answer to that in any way shape or form. You don’t even have to refer to the questions in your feedback at all, if you feel they are limiting you. Any feedback returning will help me to refine this story.
